People don't expect their research paper to go viral once they publish it. They expect it to be warily read by their teacher, given a random grade so they can calmly graduate in peace.

My research paper, however, managed to circulate through the internet overnight. By late-November, everyone had read it or, at least, some parts of it. I honestly don't know how it came around to spread on Twitter but it was soon trending in all of Korea.

Let me backtrack a bit. In late June, I finished my final research paper, the last one I needed for graduation. Our paper had to be centered around someone famous who we would analyze to discover what our society values or find admirable in people. Many from my class selected the obvious choices: the President of the US, K-pop idols, and other well-known celebrities. For my paper, I did choose someone who was well-known; in fact, I would say he was more well-known than the aforementioned people. But he was known for the opposite reason than the others; not for doing good and helping the people, but for killing and murdering countless.

Maybe if I tell you who we're talking about here you'll understand me better. The focus of my research paper was the infamous ɯɾαιƚн.

That's right; the famous criminal of Korea was the subject of my research paper. A fucking narcissistic, arrogant, conceited and sadistic psychopath. Oh, you might think that I'm exaggerating but no. I'm downplaying his personality. And you might say what the fuck is this crazy bitch talking about?

Well, I find the fact that he was also trending on Korean Twitter for the past year crazy, too. In less than six months, he managed to kill 30 well-known people, and those are only the ones that have managed to been traced back to him.

Maybe that's why my paper went viral; people were surprised that I had openly expressed my distaste towards him, something that is honestly a death wish. Which is why I'm dumbfounded that I'm still alive. But, I wonder how long will that last?
