"Jenn," Andrea shook me.
"Jenn," Andrea said, for the second time.
I didn't want to wake up, as you can see. But today was a special day. Today was the day that I, Jenn Mcallister, will ask JC Caylen out.
Yes, THE JC CAYLEN.
It took 6 months, but my confidence gained and it finally worked out.
"JENNIFER!" Andrea put the bullhorn to my ear. To this day, I'm still wondering why she has a bullhorn.
"AAH!" I screamed. I fell out of bed, with my hair in my face and being wrapped up like a burrito.
"ANDREA, WHAT THE HELL?!" I grabbed the bullhorn from her hand and put it back into her room. "You know I am NOT a morning person."
"Well, it's not my fault that this is a VERY special day, which you planned out."
"Yeah yeah, I know. Can I get dressed?"
"Sure. Make sure you fix your hair too, because it's a hot mess."
"Shut up." I hit her shoulder.
"Ow!"
"Haha," I walked into my closet and ironed a black tank top with ripped skinny jeans. I grabbed some vans and headed out the bathroom to do my hair and makeup.
Well, kinda.
I fell asleep with my head in the sink. What? It's not my fault I was up all night catching up on OITNB on Netflix.
Okay, maybe it is.
But, the problem was Andrea found me and brought the bullhorn with her.
"WAKE THE HELL UP!"
I woke up with toothpaste all over my mouth.
"Hahaha! You look funny."
"Thanks. Means a lot."
This time I actually woke myself up by pouring a cold cup of water on my face, and started flat-ironing my hair. I did my usual makeup routine. Eyeliner, mascara, and blush, et cetera.
I got dressed and grabbed my bag, penny board, and phone. I took a selfie, with the caption "school days are the worst... And posted it in Instagram.
"COME ON LETS GO!" Andrea yelled again with that stupid bullhorn. I wish that I could break that fucking bullhorn.
She dropped the bullhorn on the couch, locked the door, and grabbed her penny board.
We rode to school, ready for an adventure to come to us.
