Third p.o.v
Jin was horrified by the idea of leaving America when he was so close to reach his goal,to achieve everything in his life.
He was anxious, confused, mad, sad by his parents' decision for him.Usually, he would just nod and accept whatever his parents would decide for him being the ideal son but this was different.
He clenched his fist and looked up to his father and mother who were sitting in the study room.
''No'' jin said surprising his parents as they were not expecting that answer from him.
Why?because he had never said no to his parents' decisions.
Jin always watched his mother getting upset because his hyung would reject her wishes and he hated it,he hated to see his mother upset so he had taken it upon himself to fulfill her every wish no matter what. One of the reasons why his mother favored him.
Jin regretted his words when he looked in his mother's eyes.He bit his lips and looked down in shame.
''No?!this is why you are no good, this is why you can't surpass your brother!'' jin's father shouted while his mother shook in pain and fear.
''Please keep your voice down, father. You know mom isn't used to loud noises and the effect it has on her.We had agreed to never scare her again.'' Jin said, now looking up.
His father just sighed and rubbed his temples because as much as he didn't like his sons talking back to him,he still loved his wife dearly.
''I'm sorry'' he whispered,''I shouldn't shout''
''No.It's fine.Lets continue'' his mother gave a weak smile to both of them.
''I'm sorry father, mother I should know better that you decide the best for me.I will go to Korea as you wish.'' Jin replied making his father relieved and his mother tense.
His parents are right, they are always right.
He was taught to never let his emotions become a hinder in work but he did and made his parents upset which is why he let all his emotions drain out of him and un-clenched his fists, standing straight like an ideal son.
''Darling!this is not what we agreed upon!this isn't an order for him.'' his mother huffed turning his attention to her son.
She didn't want him to be a robot,to be so selfless that he would always keep his parents and work as his priorities.
She wanted to eradicate this 'problem' by allowing him to express himself,by acting a little selfish at least in front of his parents She just wanted her son to feel the emotions he once used to feel.
His father, although never shows it,is also worried about him as he partially blames himself for turning his son into this 'emotionless beast' .And even now he repeated the same mistake.
He doesn't remember clearly when his son started to become like this but he never thought that Jin would take his every word so seriously and would literally stop smiling.
He had also given pretty similar advices to his older son but he never followed them.
At first,he was very angry with his behavior but when he took over the company 2 years ago and soared it to another level,he forgave him.
He thought that the eldest might be the independent type who can figure out things by himself and left him to be.
But he was scared for Jin,the youngest. As the younger ones are more prone to rely on others,he would constantly give him advice and tell him to surpass his brother.
In truth, the father already knew that Jin had surpassed his brother as the fittest heir, even the brother have accepted it.
It was just a matter of time when Jin takes over and make this into a company that even their ancestors haven't thought about.
But seeing his lost son he can't bring himself to pressurize him with further responsibilities.
And that is why they decided to send his son to Korea to become an idol while supporting him with little finance knowing that he would have to live with his members in the dorm and maybe struggling with them for a goal will teach him something.
''I already told you, I will go. I will start packing, mom'' Jin then leaves the study room and goes inside his room to pack.
