"Taehyung I'm hungry "
Lisa whined as she entered X cafe. He sighed at her behavior as he followed suit. Taehyung was discharged from hospital today and to celebrate it Lisa wanted to treat him.
"Lisa slow down you'll choke "
Taehyung looked at Lisa in disbelief as gulped down her whole chocolate cake in one bite. Lisa just smiled foolishly at him.
"Why aren't you eating? "
Lisa looked at the boy beside to see his meal and drinks untouched. Taehyung was acting different from his usual self making her frown.
Taehyung smiled at her tiredly as he took a bite of his favorite chocolate chip cookies only to choke at its taste. It tasted like leather. He forced himself to eat it and gulped down water only to choke again as it tasted like acid.
Lisa was shocked to see him acting like that. Taehyung tried tasting the cake but it also tasted like shit making him look at Lisa with fear in his eyes.
"Chaeyoung I think I know what happened to Irene "
Jennie smiled sadly at the guy who looked like he was about to cry as he tried tasting everything on the table.
"Sir your coffee "
Jennie served Taehyung coffee thanking the gods there weren't many customers there as it was still early.
Taehyung who looked frightened was about to reject it seeing his condition but Lisa looked at him sternly as she gave him the coffee.
Taehyung was afraid to drink it but after seeing the look on his never serious friends he quietly drank it. The coffee tasted normal to making him smile but he frowned again after seeing the look Jennie and Lisa gave him.
"Tae you are fucked"
"So you mean Irene's organs was used in him"
Taeyang hummed as he looked at guy sitting quietly. He observed him and it seems he was right. Taehyung indeed was not a normal human he smelled unique.
"I can't believe it "
Lisa cried out as Chaeyoung hugged her.Lisa never knew Irene was a ghoul. She can't believe her innocent friend had to go through this.

Taehyung looked at them in fear as they looked at him in Pity. He can't be a ghoul it's impossible. He looked at his best friend who was crying.

Taeyang held out his hand for him to shook only for him to reject it. Taehyung was scared beyond scared. He can't believe he was a ghoul. He looked at Lisa.

Jennie who came out of the kitchen answered as she looked at Lisa with an unknown emotion in her eyes making her look away.
"No I can't be a monster "
"You all are monster "
Jennie went quiet after hearing his words making others look at her. Taehyung instantly fell bad seeing her expression.
"Then what are you all, humans kill among themselves for pleasures "
"We kill to survive "

Lisa smiled sadly at the boy who was siting quietly in front of the river.She hugged him tightly as she wiped her tears. Taeyang told him he was welcomed to join X cafe anytime he want. It was their responsibility to protect ghoul like him.
Taehyung cried silently as he hugged her back. He had many thoughts going through his mind. He wanted to ask how Lisa knew so much about ghouls but after seeing her expression he let it go.
