"G-Gab-Gabe?" I stuttered out, realizing that I just beat up my possible brother. I can't believe I just did that! What if he doesn't want to stay now? I thought as I tried to get words to come out of my mouth. Instead, uncontrollable tears came down my face. Gabe and Max got on the ground next to me, making me feel a little better.

"Chelsea, it's ok. You didn't know that it was me. Please don't cry." Gabe whispered. I wiped the tears from my eyes and gave Gabe and Max a big hug. The last hug I shared with someone was my Uncle before he left to go somewhere, but never came back.

"Chels, do you want to finish shopping?" I was broken out of my thoughts.

I nodded my head and Max grabbed one of my hands while Gabe grabbed the other, leading me to a clothing store. The first store sold casual clothes. Multiple racks of T-shirts and jeans were placed around the store. I grabbed a few outfits I liked and went to the one of the employees to ask if there was a changing room.

"Hello sweetie, what can I do for ya?" The lady asked in a strong southern accent. She had tanned skin and black hair that was in a long braid that went down her back.

"Do you have any changing rooms?"

The lady pointed to a door. "In that room are changing rooms and a large room for your friends to wait."

I spotted Max and Gabe over by a rack of clothes. "You guys can wait in the waiting room if you want." Immediately, they stood up and I led them to the waiting room. I grabbed my pile of clothes and went into one of the changing rooms, noticing that all 6 of the changing rooms were empty. The first outfit I tried on was a pastel pink sweatshirt with a pair of blue jeans. Slowly, I walked out of the changing room and made my way into the waiting room. The employee from before walked in.

"Oh honey, you can't get that outfit. You'll be sweating like a hog in that. Why don't you try on something more fit for the weather." The employee suggested. As I was about to respond, I heard a voice.  That outfit looks so ugly on her. No wonder she is here with those boys, I bet she doesn't have any other friends.
I marched  right up to her and was about to let that employee learn a lesson.

"What the hell did you just say to me!?" I yelled in her face, but was pulled back by Max and Gabe.

"Chels, your...eyes." Max whispered in my ear.

I got out of their grasps and then walked over to the employee who looked like she saw a ghost.

"P-Pl-Please don't hurt me. I don't know...what I said, but I'm sorry." the employee pleaded and cried. I was about to respond, but my legs became really cold and I couldn't move. Looking down, I realized ice covered them. Before I could try to break free, Max picked me up and carried me out of the store.

"Let me go!" I screamed like a child, earning more weird glances from people in the mall. Gabe and Max carried me into the car, shut the doors, and sat next to me. Max unfroze my legs once I stopped struggling to get out of the car.
Gabe tried to stay calm and not lose control of his powers. The car shook slightly every so often and Gabe's eyes flickered from his normal eye color to a very bright blue.

"Do you know what could've just happened? You could've accidentally used your powers. We don't know what your powers even do! Why were you angry at the employee in the first place?"

"You didn't hear what she said to me!? Why do you care anyway? It is none of your business what I do! I don't even know how you had a girlfriend in the first place when you don't mind your own business!" I shouted in his face and the shaking of the car went from a slight shake to an earthquake. Before I could realize my mistake, the car door closest to me was ripped off it's hinges and I was flying through the air, hearing Max's screams of terror in the distance as I was about to hit the hard concrete. As I looked at my surroundings, I realized that I was heading towards a wooded area filled with many trees. The fear I felt was too great and I couldn't open my mouth to scream. Please stop me, Gabe. I hoped as I closed my eyes and braced for impact. After a couple seconds and realizing I had not felt the ground, I opened my eyes and saw that I was levitating horizontally near a tree.

"Chels, are you ok?" Max ran up to me and picked me up, looking very worried.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I just flew through the air at a very fast speed and almost hit a bunch of trees, but I'm fine." I replied sarcastically, still angry at him for freezing my legs and carrying me out of the mall like a baby. His mouth looked like it about to open to speak, but then his body shifted to come face to face with Gabe. Almost instantly, Max was thrown into a tree by Gabe using his powers.

"G-Ga-Gabe! M-Ma-Max!" I tried to scream, but my voice came out as more of a loud whisper, "Please, stop!"

Gabe fell to the ground, holding his hands over his ears. Shortly after, Max also fell and was holding his ears, looking like he was in pain.

"Chels!" Max shouted, still in pain, "You need to...Ahhhh! Calm down! Your powers are..."
Before he could finish, he passed out. I listened to what he said about calming down and took a few deep breaths in and then let them out. When I was a child, I remember singing in my room to calm down after something caused me to be upset.

"Twinkle, twinkle, little star, How I wonder what you are! Up above the world so high..." After singing the whole children's song, I looked down to see a smiling Gabe, but Max was still passed out on the ground.

"Chelsea, hold still and I'll get you down." Gabe's eye glowed slightly and I was slowly pulled down to the ground. Immediately, I rushed over to Max to get him to wake up. Did I really cause him so much pain that he passed out? My ears can still remember his screams of pain. Why do I cause so much trouble for them? As I was thinking, a voice filled my head.

"Chels, can you hear me?" The voice sounded very familiar, but I couldn't tell who it was. The nickname they called me seemed very familiar.

"Yes, but who are you and how are you talking to me like this?"

"It's Max. Chels, I think I found out what your power is, but I don't want to tell you now because I want to tell Gabe and you at the same time. I know Max is trying to wake me up, but it won't work. You are the only one who can wake me up. I need you to concentrate and repeatedly think in your mind Wake up, Max." His voice began to fade until I couldn't hear him anymore. How am I the only one who can wake him up? What if I can't? No, I can't think like that. I have to wake him up. Wake up, Max. Wake up, Max. I repeatedly thought in my mind, following Max's directions. My concentration was broken when I felt someone shaking me multiple times. My eyes slowly opened, looking around until I spotted a very happy Gabe standing next to me.

"Chelsea! Max woke up!"
