New school and new life

A new day a new school

6 a.m. ding ding ding hello hey Katie its me how's your first day of school so far? ummm who is this, oh its dad I spring out of bed DAD! hey hi how are you I'm good bug so how's school ummm dad its like 6:05 in the morning. oh yea I forgot sorry I keep thinking you guys are still in Kansas ( that's where I use to live before I moved away with my mom) yeah we don't so, I'm sorry I just wanted to check in and I think we should meet up soon. well I don't know if mom would be okay with us meeting up in person ya know. well we can FaceTime well I got to go bug love you and have a great day, okay dad bye love ya.

as I hung up the phone I felt teary eye I don't know why I haven't cried in ages holding in my feelings became kind of a habit once mom and dad started fighting. I grabbed my backpack and ran downstairs my mom had bacon and eggs on the table for me with a side of orange juice. thank you mom!!! i knew she was in the basement working so I didn't want to disturb her. I heard  the bus driving from across the street, hey mom I hear the bus I better go okay sweetie have a good day!! I ran outside and waited for the bus.

five minutes later the bus arrived finally I said. ( I'm very impatient ) I walked on to the bus there where no kids, oh I must be the first stop I said to myself. the bus driver was some old guy he looked very grumpy. oh yay I grump bus driver I said in my head I took my seat and sat quiet after like ten stops there was just on more left and it was a boy a cute boy as a matter a fact, he sat right next to me I guess we are bus seat buddies he said. yeah I guess so I answered trying to hide the fact I was super into him and I didn't even know the guy. well I'm josh what's your name? ummm its Katie that's a cool name thanks I smirked.

we finally arrived at school I hoped off the bus and tried finding my classes bc as we know that is the hardest thing about the first day of school that and trying to open my locker or is that jut me. I was really hoping I had a class with josh, it was 6th period and no sign of josh I was upset I really wanted to get to know him. and then out of no where here comes josh, oh cool we have a class together yeah cool I said but inside I was screaming. by the end of the class I missed everything because I may or may not have been staring at josh.

so by the end of the day the thing I looked most forward too was the bus ride home because I get to sit with josh. josh and I talked more the way home, he's really sweet the more I got to know him. well this is my stop bye josh I said, later Katie see you tomorrow bye. as I watched the bus drive off I thought to myself that maybe school wont be all that bad.
