Morning[1]

Joe's POV

I wake up early in the morning and I check my phone and it's 6 am I groan once I realized it was the first day of senior year. Don't get me wrong I'm excited but sad that summer's over I decided to lay in bed for a extra 5 minutes but that was soon ruined by my younger brother Nick who jumped on my bed and kept yelling at me saying

"Joe wake the fuck up you lazy ass it's our first day of senior year and practice now get up!" he said

"Why aren't you still in bed why are you so energetic this morning."

"So many questions and so little time now c'mon mom made breakfast and dad wants to talk to us."

"Ugh! where's Kevin by the way.?" I said

"He's downstairs waiting for us because dad wants to talk to us now hurry up." he said I get up and put my t-shirt and glasses on as we all run downstairs and into my dads office we all sit down on the couch and he sits down in his chair and he says

"Boys since you're all starting school again and since it's your final year of high school I expect you to behave and not get into any trouble especially you Nick."

"What did I do.?!" he said

"Do I need to remind you what happened last year during your baseball game.?" he said in a serious tone that made Nick sink into his seat I laughed remembering that whole incident

"Okay maybe stealing our rivals mascot and dragging it across the field with a golf cart was a bad idea but you have to admit it was funny." he said I tried to hide my laughter and so did Kevin and Frankie but that soon ended when my dad looked at us with dead eyes that made all of us pay attention.

"Boys I'm being serious no more pranks and shenanigans I want you all to be responsible during your school year now lets go get breakfast we don't have all day you know." he said as my brothers walked out with my dad I stayed behind and my eyes were locked at one of my dad's picture frames he had on his shelves some were of my dad and my mom and some were of me and my brothers but my eyes kept locking on the picture my dad took of me and Demi. We were just 13 when we took that picture our families went camping and I remember what she said to me before that picture was taken

*Flashback*

"C'mon Joe let's take a picture!" said Demi

"Demi we already took a lot of pictures don't you think we need to take a break from the camera.?" I said she laughs and says

"Nope if you don't want to take pictures with me I could ask Nick or Dallas to be in them with me."

"Ugh! Fine ahah since you are one of my best friends in the whole world." I said she smiled her big beautiful smile that always sent butterflies in my stomach

"Alright you two ready 1..2..3" my dad said as he took the photo we saw the photo and Demi laughs hysterically 

"Oh my god you look like a big goofy little kid holding a teddy bear!" she said

"That's because I'm hugging my best friend that's why I have that huge smile on my face." I said she blushes and she hugs me again and we stay that way for awhile at the sight of the beautiful crystal clear sky I was happy to be here with Demi.
