Demi's POV

I tried to hide my anger but it clearly didn't work because Joe had fear in his eyes the second the teacher put us together as he walked all the way to the back to where my partner and I were sitting he sits down and I have my head straight forward ignoring him.

"So you're basically going to ignore me all year? or are we going to talk about this Demi?"

"Let it go Jonas." I said sternly

"No, not until you give me a chance to explain."

"Why should I listen to a word you have to say? don't I mean nothing to you?" I said coldly I heard him catch his breath and look down.

"Demi..please let me explain what happened." he pleaded as much as it killed me I wanted to hear his side of the story about why he did it but then apart of me didn't want to relive that all over again but it's better for me to just hear it now and never worry about it again.

"Okay explain, tell me whatever bullshit lies you have to tell me." I said as I raised an eyebrow waiting for what he has to say. Before he can open his mouth I hear the door open but I didn't turn around to see who it was but her scream caught everyone's attention except for Joe's

"Oh my god! Baby! I'm gonna be your lab partner for the whole year!" she yelled as she ran to the back of the room before she wrapped her hands around Joe's neck. He doesn't say anything to her he keeps looking at me and his annoying ass girlfriend kept hugging and squealing, before I could say anything I heard my lab partner say

"Can you calm your screaming girlfriend down? it's bad enough we have to dissect rats instead of your girlfriend squealing like one."  she said

I started to laugh a little and then the whole class joined in I look at my partner and said

"You and I are going to get along just fine." I said still laughing she nods her head and laughs

I look at Joe's girlfriend and she shoots me a death glare, I roll my eyes and my eyes immediately caught Joe's and he had no expression on his face, I kinda felt bad for him but then again why should I care about him when he clearly doesn't care about me. As class went on my partner and I got along better her name was Angela and we got our shit done faster than everyone so we had a little free time left, I look over at Joe and his girlfriend and I see by her weird ass handwriting her name is Ashley and I also see that they haven't finished the worksheet Mr.Jason gave us.

"Ugh! Joe I don't get this! it's so hard ask them if we could copy them" she pouted

"What is there not to get? you're simply just figuring out which bone goes where and the name of it, there's a chart up there near the door that explains it to you." Angela said

"I wasn't talking to you, I was talking to my boyfriend, something you clearly don't have." she said

"Well I guess we're not helping you with this so you could just use your brain, oh wait it's something you clearly don't have either." I said back she looks at me and she looks pissed then I hear Angela laughing and I smirk at her and she looks at Joe who has his eyes shot straight onto his paper and she says

"You're just going to sit there and let them make fun of me like that?" she said

"Ashley it's okay look I'll help you okay? c'mon let me see your paper and I'll show you how it's done."

"I don't think that's a good idea, I don't remember the patellas being in the chest area Jonas, don't you remember they're your knee caps not things that go into your chest." she said he looks at us and he erases his mistake
