Final Part

After a month:

"Manik, I am telling you I am not taking anything and that's final" Nandini said in a final tone but Manik was stubborn

"Aunty... you tell him.... Do friends do like this... I am not accepting money Manik and that's final and if you insist one more time I am not talking to you" she said in a tone that left no room for discussion. Manik very well knew why Nandini was doing this, but he couldn't accept that.

"Mannu..." Manik's mom gestured him to keep quite and he sighed making Nandini smile widely.

"But beta, you are spending so much time taking tution's for Mukti and you are not ready to accept anything in return. Acha nai lagta na" she voiced out her concerns.

"Aunty, I am Manik's friend right?" she asked and Manik's mom nodded her head in a yes

"and you just called me beta na, so how can I accept money. It is against my rules" Nandini said stubbornly making the Malhotras sigh in defeat. She was a tough nut to crack.

"You can do one thing, by the way." Nandini added with a mischievous smile

"Anything, you tell me" Manik's mom jumped in.

"Ask Manik to drop me home after I am done with Mukti's classes and but me ice creams whenever I ask for without scolding me"

"Nandu, no ice creams... Mumma you don't know her, she looks so small and tiny but she eats away all the ice creams available. So no. I am not buying you ice creams, if I do that I will have to explain to Aunty why you fall sick every other day and she will scold me. Nai baba, I cant take that risk. I am scared of your Mom. I will pick you up and drop, but ice cream, a big NO" he ended making his mom chuckle and Nandini fume with anger.

"Next time you ask me to get that special Poha of mom for you then I will kill you" Nandini muttered angrily and got up to leave the house.

"Uffo this girl" Manik stood up and turned to his mom and said "I will drop her home and be back" and ran out grabbing his bike keys.

"Nandu... are suno baba" he called her lovingly but she kept walking ignoring him.

"Ok... sorry... I will buy you ice creams okay... talk to me na baby..." he tried once again lovingly and she turned to look at him and asked cutely

"Pakka?" to which he nodded his head in a yes. She smiled widely and sat on the bike wrapping her hands around his waist and said "Lets go and have ice cream then, I am hungry"

After 1 year:

"Manik... are you sure" Nandini asked nervously and he nodded his head in a yes.

"I will talk to Mom and you tell your parents. I will officially come to your house with Mom and Mukti tomorrow" Manik said in an assuring tone and Nandini sighed.

"hmm" Nandini was lost in thoughts.

"Nandu... I really love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you... don't you want that??" he asked her to which she immediately replied

"Noooo... its not like that... sorry Manik, vo I just got nervous, it's a big step na, what if we are rushing it, what if we are not ready for all this. I am just scared Manik... you are understand what I am trying to say na" she tried to explain it to him without offending him

He sighed and said in a calm loving tone "My chotu baby... don't worry, we will pull of anything together. Don't worry. Mai hoon na" he added her favourite line making her giggle.

"chalo sleep... we can talk tomorrow... sweet dreams" he said and she smiled

"you too... don't think too much, my Mom likes you so she isn't going to eat you up tomorrow. Sleep peacefully. We will meet tomorrow morning." Nandini said making Manik smile. She always knew what was going on in his mind without him voicing it out. He just loved that fact about her.

After 2 months:

"Ab ye vivha sampan hua... Aaj se aap dono Pati- Patni ho" the pandit announced and Manan looked at each other with wide smiles on their faces. Manik turned to her and kissed her forehead hugging her close to his heart.

"I love you" he said cupping her face and she replied "I love you more" with a big smile on her face.

Manik's mom and Nandini's mom hugged each other with tears of happiness in their eyes.

Nandu's father walked to Manan and said looking at Manik

"She is finally in your hands. I can peacefully sleep in my house if this blackmailer is not there to complain about me to her mom. I pity you man, if she irritates you na call me immediately."

Nandini's jaw dropped to the floor and she dramatically started wailing, now it was Manik and Mr Sharma's turn to get stunned.

"What happened beta" Nyonika and Shalini asked in a worried tone.

"Mom and Mumma" she addressed her mom and Mother-in-law, still weeping

"vo Dad and Manik are talking about ways to torture me. Abhi abhi shaadi hui and see what they are doing, I want to go home. I am not coming to your house Mumma, Sorry" she said and hugged Nyonika who short a glare at Manik.

"I will see how you enter the house" shalini said and consoled Nandini.

"see I told you be careful with her. She and her mom are drama queens" Nandini's dad whispered in Manik's ears and gave him a pity look.

After 3 days- Shimla

"Nandu yaar open the door. You cant throw me out of the bedroom in our honeymoon." Manik said knocking the door but there was no reply from inside the room. People in the corridor were giving him pity looks. He was thrown out of the room as the previous night he didn't let her sleep even for a minute, didn't let her wear her clothes after their yet another special night. Then when she tried to wake him up for lunch,he was sleeping . Getting irritated she threw him out of the room.

"Nandu baby I am so sorry. Please open the door Jaan" he called her lovingly once again and he heard the click of the door. The moment he stepped into the room, he pinned Nandini to the door and sealed her lips with his.

"Acting smart haan Mrs. Malhotra, now I will show you who's the boss" saying this he picked her up in his arms and walked towards the bedroom, ignoring all her threats, dropped her on the bed and hovered over her.
