LOST IN THE REALMS OF LOVE

MOM?! DAD?!!!!!!!! BRO?!

I returned home from school. It was late afternoon. Gosh, why always I have to wind up the library for the librarian. Can't she just have some assistants like those in biology, chemistry and physics lab. Ah! I guess it can't be helped.

"Mom! I am home. And I am super duper hungry!" I received no response. What the hell! Did they left me alone again and went for shopping! No way. That's unforgivable. I quickly ran to the telephone and called on mom and dad's phone. And I heard their bell ringing behind me. I turned around to look and both the cellphone's were at the table in the lounge room.

"Hey! Stop playing with me. Oscar! You know I don't like it when you play hide and seek and then say boo!" Still there was no response. The house looked barren like a desert. "OK then I am coming to find you!" At this my heart started sinking, my heart beat fast and I could sense fear running down my spine. I quickly ran upstairs and sneaked into mom and dad's room. No one was there. "Mom? Dad?!" I shouted out, loud enough that anyone can hear me outside. I checked my room, Oscar's room ,the kitchen, the cellar, and the attic and almost every room in the house. I was really terrified now. Where could they have been. We don't even have any relative in the city and dad or anyone won't go anywhere without the phone. I started panting ,my breath almost gone by running up and down. And then something clicked in my mind. I remembered an opening to another cellar in mom and dad's room in which we kids were forbidden to go, but I had no choice. I quickly ran upstairs, pushed open the door ,removed the carpet under which the opening was. I tried hard to pull it but just won't open. And then with all my strength I pulled it and luckily, it opened this time. I quickly jumped down and fell over a heap of dust and rubbish. Damn it! "Seriously how old is this place." I said to myself. Luckily I found a torch as I opened it, there was a door in front of me. Next to the door was a switch. As I turned it on the room lightened, I could also see light coming from behind of the door. I quietly turned the lock, slowly sneaking in,"Hello. Is somebody in here?" At first I glanced around but when I opened the door completely,........all that was heard was a scream....I gave out a loud cry. What stood in front of me was my mom, dad and my little brother, Oscar.

My eyes wide open my mouth wanted to shout and cry out loud but couldn't say anything. I was numb.

There was nothing left of them but pieces of flesh and blood, their heads were ripped off! I just couldn't take it anymore. My body was now shaking vigorously with fright. I quickly turned around and run.

But there was no ladder or stairs to go up. I was so scared, body shivering as if it was cold and chilled,  I started shouting like a wild animal. "he..h..help, HELP me!! (hiccups and sobs) Just...(gasping for breath) just  somebody help me for god's sake!!!" But all in vain. I fell down on my knees,terrified, my fingers were holding my head, my heart racing and pounding fast. I just didn't know what to do. Just then I felt my sweater wrapped over my stomach and my phone was inside it. I quickly pulled it out and started to dial Takuya and Sierra. Two or three times I dialled the wrong number, but was successful then.

"Hey, Juliet! What's up? How strange you called me!?" It was Takuya. Oh my gosh! I was so much relieved to hear his voice! But fear kept running down my spine. "Heelllo", he said spreading the word, I almost started crying , my mouth won't say anything even if I want to. And then I heard his usual terrified, worried voice, " hey, is everything alright?" "Ta-takuya, (sobbing, trying to pull my breath) please........help me........I'm scared.........please..........come, help me." I finally spoke. "Hey! Come on don't worry I'll be right there ! Where are you?!" "At.....home....... Upstairs..." "OK,ok don't you worry I'll be right there!" Its been so long since I last heard him worrying about me but I can tell ,what he was feeling right now.

Fortunately, the door wasn't locked. Takuya came in easily. "Juliet!!" And then he remembered I told him I was upstairs. Sierra came too as she knew about my house and when Takuya told her I was upstairs she at once knew where I was. Both of them ran into my dad's room. I heard them shout my name. "Down here!" I shouted. "Don't worry we'll get you out of there. At first they tried to pull me out by lending me their hand but it was worthless. Then Takuya got an idea. He hanged himself with his hands, rest of his body falling down."Come on. Climb up." I was still looking at his face. He sure looked disturbed the way I cried and my face looked. "Come on. Are you still terrified?!" Somewhat he was trying to tease me but I just wouldn't take notice. I placed my foot on his hanging leg and got hold of his jacket, he was wearing. Finally, I came out. "OK. Now will someone pull me out." Those words somewhat made me giggle, he noticed it and smiled. Of course, past repeats itself. I quickly hugged Sierra, she also held me tightly while I was still crying. When I got my hands loose then she talked to me, "Come on Juliet. Were you just afraid because you couldn't come out?" "It's nothing like that.?" Takuya told her." When Juliet cries like that or feels terrified in that way then she probably saw or heard something terrible. So am I right, Juliet?" He looked at me. "Yeah... You're right." I told them. "OK OK OK . just when exactly did you both started this Romeo and Juliet date!?" She almost made me blush! She said such a thing last time when I told her that I fell in love with the Romeo in the play. "Just stop it Sierra. Its embarrasing!'' I shouted at her while she showed me her grin. "Come on I was just kidding. And look at handsome prince. Oh my gosh! He's blushing!" Yeah. Seriously Takuya was blushing shyly trying to hide his face. This seriously made me give out a laugh. "Aaah! Just stop it already!" he said angrily. "So. What happened?'' He asked me and I again burst into tears and this time he got hold of me trying to calm me down but I just won't let calmness touch me. Though his warmth did a little to soothe me. I don't know when I fell asleep.

When I woke up, I could still feel that similar warmth. What! All this time I had been sleeping with him! What the hell! I quickly pushed myself away, dragging myself out of his arms. This woke him up. "Ah! Juliet, you woke up! Thank goodness." "What happened and where is Sierra?" I asked him. "Well. As you feel asleep, you almost caught a high fever. It was so difficult to deal with. Thanks to Sierra she's studying medical. She just went home two hours ago. When I returned locking the door behind me, you were almost numb with coldness, so I quickly wrapped you up with the blanket and my jacket." That was the quick explanation of Takuya." I see." I said quietly, hiding my face in my knees. Just then I felt his fingers brushing my side hair behind my ear. I looked up and he had tucked his face on mine. I blushed and said angrily," What are you doing!?" "You didn't tell me what happened?" "About that? ( I became quiet but not for long and started speaking,holding back my tears) It's mom,dad and little bro. Someone........killed....them." Takuya looked at me completely stunned. I know how he felt, after what I told him what happened after his accident. He wrapped me up in his arms.
