Daylight trotted along the bluish green grass it was more blue though. He stood out from the grass and he mixed horribly with it. Daylight was a sun brown Dragon with chocolate coloured spots on him and a white underbelly, I practically looked like a leopard,suddenly i looked up to see a dark grey creature in a tree scowling at me (im not gonna describe it because im lazy sooo a picture of it is at the top just tap on it for the full picture if you cant see it!) It jumped down and said -Who are you?- the creature said still scowling -Im Daylight- i replied copying her scowl and growling -Im Lunar.- she smiled to see that atleast he was nice,the smile caught him off gaurd so he smiled back -What are you doing in the blue forest? Do you know how dangerous it is here?- she asked -I do know- i replied. Lunar grabbed my talon and dragged me to a big den.
What is happening? I thought
-Meet the others- she said and pointed to them there was one dark blue and he dident have scars he had the same earring that Lunar had and a missing ear he had jet black eyes with golden pupils -Thats Onix- she said pointing to the dark blue creature,he smiled and waved. I waved back and smiled. Another creature was a sun yellow and her eyes looked like a sunrise she had normal black pupils -Thats Sundae- she pointed to the sun yellow dragon,she did the same this as the dark blue one she waved and smiled. The last one was a badge and brown he looked like a Siamese. -Thats Volcano- she pointed at tue siamese looking creature
-Now tell us- -now tell us- -Now tell us- they all said at the same time -What is your name?- i couldent respond they were speacking fluently and perfect are they trained to do that? I thought -Now- said Volcano -I-im Daylight...- i stammered. The three creatures laughed and laughed and laughed and laughed at me. -We are joking we are not mind trained robots! Plus i think we all agree that you have a pretty cool name- said Onix. The others nodded in agreement.
-i know its not my business but what creature are you?- i asked -We are Feather lins- said Sundae -What are you?- she asked -Im a Draganic there dragons but they have way diffrent features to them- I smiled and they looked at each other.
*Part 2*
It was the middle of night everyone was sleeping. Except for Daylight he was awake and wanting to go to sleep,but he couldent all he could do was think about how awesome his friends were,he sighed and thought of the Wariths. What happened to them? Ive heard weird rumors about them ever since the massacre. Daylight put his head on his talons,finally he closed his eyes and he fell asleep. He heard some movement after a few hours he opened his eyes to Sundae sorting out the potions. I got up and trotted over to help her. She smiled at me and i smiled back and whispers to her -can i help?- she nodded yes and we sorted potions together.
She grabbed a dark blue bottle and frowned at it -Whats wrong?- i whisperd to her -This is a bottle LUNAR THREATENS us with- threatens? What does that mean? I looked at the bottle in confusion and i noticed small writing on it it said use if friends threaten or dont listen i flinched at the words and pointed them out to Sundae,i noticed she could barely see it. I saw roundish,square glasses and grabbed them for her,she took it gently and placed it on her eyes. I noticed her eyes go wide she threw her glasses on her bed and chucked the potion out the window. The glass shattered with a quiet sickening crunch -Oh no! What did i do?!- i heard her mumble. -She is going to be so mad- she mumbled again dont worry Sundae i thought i will think an excuse up for you! Finally they finished sorting the potions it was Dawn nkw and both of us yawned k trotted to my bed but Sundae just said -Dont go to sleep Lunar will get angry!- i heard her mumble to me i nodded at her. It was a few hours later everyone was awake and tired, i saw pitch black bags under Sundaes eyes she looked so tired. But instead she just read a scroll! Poor Sundae i thought sadly.
-Hunter for today get up!- Lunar shouted,Volcano got up and trotted out of the den. -Next hunter will be Daylight! Let us see how strong he is!- Oh no i thought i cant hunt!. It was a few hours later,Sundae finally drifted to sleep and Lunar was looking at the sky. Volcano was back and eating some prey that he caught,and Onix was munching on some berries. I looked around and saw the potions i kinda wanted to read the labels,so i trotted over and grabbed a turqiouse bottle and read it use for healing if hurt cool! So i guess their not that bad! I smiled at my thoughts. I put back the bottle and went to my bed,i layed down my head and drifted to sleep.
*Part 3*
I woke up to Lunar calling for the next hunter to go hunting,i ameddiently got up and trotted out of the den. I saw somthing move it was big and fully white it had talons,no wings,its not a Draganic,nor a Feather Lin weird. What is that? I stared at it and it stared at me,so i growled a very loud growl all it did was stick out it pink snake toung and hiss at me. I was dramatized so i jumped on its back,but i just went through it! -hey! No power fighting!- i hissed at it. It snarled at me and i jumped on it again. I dident go through it this time i bit it hardly and it howled in pain, it shot me off its back and i scrathed it. It hit me hard in the head. And i fell to the ground but i amddiently got up and smacked it hard,i bit its head hearing a loud CRUNCH and it fell to the ground.
I carried the heavy body to the den. And to the fresh kill pile, as they looked at me with shocked whispers and faces -how did you catch that?- Onix asked -does he know how strong he is? If he can kill those he must be a great hunter!- Sundae whispered to Lunar and she agreed -Daylight- Lunar said -Hm?- i said
-You caught a Qeruth, the strongest creature alive- Lunar said impressed,i gasped now i know why it looked like that! Its a Qeruth! From the legends! Ive heard they are very tasty! -Who gets the first bite?- Sundae asked -I think i know who- Said Onix looking at me -Lunar!- they all laughed - Were joking! You should get it Daylight!- i smiled and took a leg from it,i chewed it and tasted the juicy meat and savory taste of it -Mmmmmmm- i murmured -Ive heard they are very tasty- said Sundae -Well i agree with that- i said around my bite,they all smiled and took their share,this life was great.
