Songs to listen to:

"Happier" - Bastille
"Pray" - Sam Smith
A week after Sapph's discharge, we were all eagerly awaiting the opportunity to hold baby Cameron. Hunter remained a constant presence by her side, while Travis and I took turns caring for her. Jason also visited once he learned of Sapphire's hospital stay. His sadness was palpable as he observed Sapph with Hunter, but he made no scene. Instead, he quietly looked at baby Cameron, who had inherited his father's dark hair but looked very much like his mother. Jason's tears when he first held his son spoke volumes about his emotions, and though he left quietly afterward, we understood the depth of his feelings.

Nighttime care for Cameron became a shared responsibility between Sapph and me. Sapph needed her rest to recover from childbirth, and I had to stay healthy for the coming days. I had chosen not to know my baby's gender beforehand, wanting it to be a surprise. As the days sped by, I noticed Sapph's post-pregnancy transformation. Her body was in excellent shape, and she began working out again to maintain her new figure. Hunter, meanwhile, became Cameron's primary caretaker. The baby's cries, particularly when Hunter was away, were a challenge for everyone. Despite my initial hope of bonding with him, Cameron only seemed to cry louder when I held him. After that experience, I refrained from holding him as often.

One night, in frustration, we all voiced our concerns to Hunter. Recognizing the issue, he took on the full responsibility of caring for Cameron. He bathed him, buckled him into the car, and changed his diapers, demonstrating an admirable commitment to his role as a father.

Travis, too, became involved in Cameron's life, albeit in his unique way. Cameron seemed to have a particular reaction to him—he would frequently spit up on Travis, who would just laugh it off. It was a humorous but endearing dynamic. As my due date approached, I experienced the intense kicks of the baby, often feeling conflicted between frustration and anticipation. Travis, ever vigilant, stayed awake at night, convinced that my water would break any moment. His attentiveness, though amusing, showed his dedication.

At night, Travis would talk to my baby, acting as a guardian to both of us. Sapph would often visit, and our conversations were filled with nostalgia and emotion. We reminisced about our shared experiences and cried together, comforted by Hunter and Travis. Even Cameron seemed to be affected by my mood swings. When I cried, he would either attempt to comfort me or cry in sympathy, which I found oddly reassuring.

Jason would occasionally visit, bringing gifts for his son. One day, as Aaliyah arrived while Travis was home, I decided to avoid the confrontation and retreated to my room. At that moment, my water broke, and I couldn't help but laugh at the timing. I called out for Travis, who rushed in, his face filled with panic. He scooped me up and carried me to the car, calling the others to meet us at the hospital.

The labor process began, and I was ushered into a room where I received medication to ease the pain. As I neared delivery, the doctor instructed me to push. The pain was intense, but with each push, I felt closer to meeting my child. After a challenging delivery, our baby boy emerged, and I named him Theodore, a name Travis had always loved. However, the doctor surprised us by asking me to push once more. To our amazement, after another half-hour of labor, we welcomed our baby girl, Tneeya.

The nurse assisted me with breastfeeding, and soon after, the others were called in. Sapph's reaction to seeing two babies at once was one of sheer disbelief and joy. Cameron's squeals of excitement mirrored her emotions. Hunter, equally astonished, and Travis, still in shock, joined us. Both babies resembled their parents, with Tneeya notably inheriting more features from Travis. She had his striking eyes and a beauty that was undeniable.

Travis, moved by the moment, knelt beside me and said, "I love you so much, Chloe. I want to spend the rest of my life with you."

I interrupted him with a smile, "Yes, Travis, don't continue. I'll marry you." His face lit up with joy as he stood up, his eyes brimming with happiness. Sapph, in her usual playful manner, laughed heartily at my interruption but also congratulated us, presenting two tickets to Dubai and a photo of baby Cameron.

Hunter congratulated us and shared a heartfelt embrace with Travis, celebrating the new additions to our lives. The following days were exhausting as the twins cried frequently, causing me to feel overwhelmed. Travis took on most of the baby duties, allowing me to recover and get used to my new role as a mother.

Weeks later, I was discharged from the hospital, and a welcome party was organized in my honor. Travis and I decided to postpone our wedding slightly, which provided us with more time to adjust to our new lives. Life had become a beautiful whirlwind of joy, with our children bringing immense happiness. Cameron, Theodore, and Tneeya filled our days with love and laughter. I had a devoted partner in Travis, who was committed to loving and supporting me.

As I looked around at my family, I felt a profound sense of contentment. My life, though filled with its challenges, had become incredibly fulfilling. With Travis by my side and our beautiful children in our lives, I knew that we had created something truly special. Each day was a reminder of the love and dedication we shared, and I was grateful for every moment of it.

The End.
