4 walls had to be built so that safety could be a component in this life, suffocation becomes real but only when these walls begin to close in. A place where our struggles could be hidden away, a place that only you are aware of. See we're not bad people for wanting to protect ourselves from the pain, we do what we can at all cost, it becomes a priority. We choose to believe what we can to keep us going and help us grow. A complicated and difficult way. A safety net. Although isolation plays a role in this "world" of ours we think it's okay, who else truly understands you? Who else understands that pain in your chest or that knot in your throat that you get when there's tears running down your face and anger pilling up? Who else understands your thoughts? Who will be there to say that it's okay and help you believe that it is? You can't speak up. There are so many words but no ways of saying it. Silence then becomes "key". You know deep down you won't ever hear those precious words you've always wanted to hear, words of comfort, words that give you a sense of relief. You just want an answer, one solution to the overall problem. There's times when you just can't trust, I mean how could you when so many have hurt you, mentally and physically. Sometimes we find comfort in the things that harm us the most, we give up and start to believe that we deserve less because that's usually what we get. "Think positive it'll all be okay", don't you think we've tried, don't you think we've given every ounce of energy we had into this, see you don't understand, you never will and we can't blame you but this anger can't be controlled, we get so lost in the moment and the torment we are in. There's plenty we feel but can't speak upon, until you feel the pain and see hell for yourself you'll finally understand why I am the way that I am and why I don't think I deserve to apologize for being the type of person that I am.
