(Point of View: Jack Cason)

'I am so nervous' I thought 'and I'll be nervous tomorrow and the day after that'.

I am nervous because of what is going to happen three days from now, 'I am forced to do it, but if I had a choice, I wound never dream of doing something as insane as this. I am going to join an insane entrance test for the army but I'm okay with being in the army, I'll probably just watch the pros do their work on the battlefield and I will probably do very little. But the entrance test is out of this world insane and barbaric, because who would want to join a challenge to either get picked by some mystery person or die?'

"A lot of people."

I looked behind me to see my older sister standing with her arms crossed staring at me and that is when I realized I was talking out loud.

"No matter how annoying you are and no matter how many times you sneak up on me I can't believe I will miss you Rebecca."

"Thanks Jack *sniff* I think I'll miss you too. How many days left? Three if I'm correct?"

"Yeah, three more days. I'm just so nervous I can barely stand it. I'll just go to the park so I can clear my head."

"Okay."

I walked out of my room in silence, I then put on my coat because I looked out the window to see that it was raining. When I went outside as if on cue, a taxi passed by so I hailed it. I got in and the cab driver looked back and he was wearing sunglasses, it was quite weird because it was raining outside so it made no sense but I'd rather not ask why.

"Where to?"

"The Scotland Park please."

"Okay."

He put the taximeter down and started to drive, we arrived in around 10 minutes later, I paid the cab driver a couple of bucks then left. I realized it stopped raining so instead of going to my sister's coffee shop I sat down on my favorite bench which was perfectly under a tree providing a nice shade. It got sunny quite fast so I quickly sat down because it started to get very warm outside, I saw some of my friends playing basketball in the basketball court then one by one they looked at me. Most of them just looked away but one came up and gave me a caring hug.

"I'm so sorry man, I read it on Facebook... and Instagram... and twitter. I really hope you make it in the Entrex and I know you can make it Jack, I know you can."

Saker Del Rosa, my red headed best friend, I knew him since 5th grade, and he is quite the social networker so that is why I slightly suspected that he knew all about the whole army thing.

"Thanks Sae."

"I hate it when you call me that!"

"I know."

We talked for a while then when I realized it started getting late I was about to hail a cab but instead Saker offered to give me a ride and I accepted. I got home at around 7 o'clock and in what felt like a few seconds I fell asleep on my couch.
