wonderful tonight

I tossed and turned in my bed like there was no stop.
The intense feelings, thoughts, sensations overwhelmed my ability to ingrate them into a present moment which kept me wide awake.
I turned aside facing the way too fancy clock I got for my last birthday who pointed to three am.
I sighed in frustration as the determination of talking to him grew bigger which left me no choice.

I walked downstairs passing by pictures of me and him together, my heart ache rewinding earlier events.
Right in front of me was hang a picture of him holding me close while making a funny face, I laughed so hard that tears streamed down my eyes and his mom captured the moment.

I turned my head away from the picture and kept walking down the stairs while my emotions flooded.

That was one of those moments I needed someone to hold me and tell me it will be alright, but the main problem was that this someone was him.

As my feet came to touch with the floor chills went through my body, I turned my fully attention to the couch and my eyes instantly laid upon the brunette boy, his eyes closed with tear stains under.
a wave of sadness washed my face.

I came close to him when an amount of regret rang through my ears, the hesitation almost stopped me but I kept letting my heart lead my actions.

I touched his shoulder softly and his eyes flattered open, he wore a confused look on face which I didn't expect otherwise.

"Are you Okay?" His raspy voice echoed around the room.
"I can't sleep without you, I miss you. this argument was so stupid, please come back." I whispered wishing for nothing but him to forgive me.
"I miss you too" he said sadly and got up to his feet.
relieve washed me, and I immediately felt myself wrapped within his arms.
"Do you want to go outside?" He asked me with a little smile, I laughed a little led by a slight nod.
He grinned and took my hand into his.

Warm, love, care, all of the feelings came back to me.

We reached a beautiful place which was covered with wet grass, the sky was plain dark but thousands of tiny stars made it shine, which was a great metaphor.

"Please sit here" Tom guided me and I followed each action he told me to do so.
He carefully took headphones out of his bag and plugged them into his phone, his fingers typed so fast I couldn't follow and a few second later I found him sitting beside me.
He handed me one of the headphone's wires and soft music started playing.

It has flashed an old memory back, where I introduced a new song to Tom which he immediately disliked.
He said it was too cheesy for anyone to hear but I kept insisting it's beautiful.
And then one day I specifically remember how he ran to me and played this song.
'You Zendaya, were absolutely right' he said and turned the volume up.
'I realized how true this song is just when I experienced true love myself, and as cheesy as it sounds right now, It is true, love' he said and kissed me on my cheek, butterflies were growing in my stomach at that moment.

And now it all was rewinding in my head, and a smile appeared across my lips as I saw he remembers too.

Till the end of the song we both closed our eyes.
we imagined how our future together would be like, followed by the music's harmony.

As I opened my eyes once again I saw him with a big goofy smile and blush on his cheeks.
"You know that you look wonderful tonight?" A simple question rolled out of his lips.
"It's almost four in the morning, I bet I look like a mess" I replied not aware of the words that are about to come out of his mouth.
"Darling you look perfect tonight" he said underneath his breath, but I heard it.
As he realized I heard it he chuckled a little.
"Darling you look perfect tonight" he said confidently making me smile wildly.
"You definitely becoming one of those guys who tell what they're thinking, confidently." I said making him smirk
"Do you think it's cute?" I asked him while raising my eyebrows.
"Do you, think it's cute?" He questioned innocently.

If love could kill, I guess we both would be dead.
