Airee
Busy ako sa pag aayos ng mga gamit ko nang biglang may kumatok sa pinto ng studio ko. I left what I'm doing, and wipe my hands that has been tainted by paints that I used for my painting awhile ago. Then I opened the door and was a bit surprise, seeing my best buddy.
"Oh Jin?"
I opened the door wider to let him in. Again I was surprised when there was two more guys who followed him inside my studio. Wala naman kasi akong napansin kanina, kaya akala ko sya lang ang nadun. Pero ang mas lalong nagpagulat sa'kin ay, isa dun ang taong di ko inaasahang makikita ko pa ulit.
It was Kim Taehyung, my ex.
I froze in my place for a bit but I wss able to recover when Taehyung glanced at me and smirked. My heart suddenly skipped a beat. I blinked a couple of times before I was able to closed the door and turn to them. They were just standing while roaming their eyes around my place.
"Pasensya kana Airee may mga kasama ko. Alam mo na, maraming sassaeng dyan, kaya nagdala na ko ng mga body guards ko."
Biro ni Jin sa'kin. I heared the other two guys whined because of what he said, kaya medyo natawa nalang ako sa kanila. But I still feel uncomfortable because someone pinned his eyes on me.
"Taehyung-ah, baka matunaw."
Pang aasar nung katabi nya. I don't know why but I blushed because of it, and that earned a silent laughed from them. I was also curious kung alam nila ang past namin ni Taehyung.
I was cut off by managing my thoughts when the other guy they are with, spoke to me.
"Ang cute mo naman. Jhope nga pala."
The guy who was messing around earlier with Taehyung extended his arms towards me for a handshake. I gladly accepted it and smiled at him.
"And this is Tae."
He said referring to the guy beside him. Hindi parin nya inaalis ang titig nya sa'kin.
Sobrang naiilang na ko.
Pero dahil sa sinabi nya parang alam ko na ang sagot sa tanong ko.
I guess they don't.
I said to my self, concluding that they got no idea about what me and Taehyung had before.
I just nodded at him and smiled as well. Saka itinuon ulit ang tingin ko kay Jin.
"What brings you here?"
I asked politely to Jin.
"Well, uhm.. my friend needs your amazing hands."
Napataas naman ang kilay ko sa sinabi ni Jin. I don't want to be green but it seems like double meaning yung pagkakasabi nya. I saw Jhope trying to contain his laughter. While Taehyung is still staring at you, na parang kanina kapa nya hinuhubaran sa tindi ng titig nya.
"I mean, your good at paintings right? Gusto nyang magpagawa ng portrait sayo."
Paglilinaw naman ni Jin.
"Sakin? There are a lot of amazing artists out there, bakit sakin pa?"
"Because I want you. Isn't it enough reason for me to pick you?"
Taehyung said that made everyone in the room shut in silence.
"Ah, uhm.. you see.. I ah, got a lot of things to do kaya baka di ko magawa."
I said stuttering, trying to get a believable reason to turn down his offer. I really don't have anything in my hands actually. I got all the time to make it but I just don't want to. Lalo na at konektado pa doon si Kim Taehyung. It's been years since the last time we saw each other, and it wasn't a good memory to look back.
"I'll pay you big enough to take my offer and put it on the top of your list."
He said arrogantly. Napataas naman agad ang kilay ko sa kayabangan nya. But I tried to compose my emotions and keep myself calm.
"I don't need any big payment, hindi ko lang talaga sya magagawa."
I said. But knowing him, hw won't take no for an answer. Kaya magsasalita pa sana suya pero inunahan na sya ni Jin.
"Ah, Airee. Accept it already. Nakwento ko kasi sa kanya na kailangan mo ng sponsors para sa exhibit mo, and he got a lot of connections na for sure magbebenefit ka. Pati na rin ang mga artworks mo."
Bulong sa'kin ni Jin. He's trying to convince me, and he actually got a point. I badly need it. I got my money all used up and I have a lot of bills to pay. I don't have any other choice. Ilang beses 'kong sinubukan na mag-isip pa ng ibang paraan na pagkakakitaan ko. But I keep on falling to this last call. That is taking the commission for me to survive this crisis I'm facing.
After thinking about it, tutal painting lang din naman daw. Then all done, pwede ko na ulit syang hindi makita. I just need him this time.
I thought,then I sighed before I nodded to Jin.
"Yes, so pano. Kayo na ang bahalang mag usap sa schedule nyo."
Sabi ni Jin samin.
"You can come back tomorrow so that we can discuss the concept you want and other things concerning the portrait you want. Pati na rin kung kelan gagawin."
"Tomorrow would be good."
He answered immediately. While looking at me straight with full of intensity in his gaze. I just stared at him as well.
"Bilis ah, tomorrow agad?"
Jhope said trying to lighten up the mood. Maybe the tension of our bodies are drifting around the room.
"Fine."
Tango ko nalang sa kanya. They all prepared to leave and so I guided them outside the studio. Jhope and Jin bid their goodbyes to me but Taehyuny stop and went back to me. He leaned closer to my ear, that I can almost feel his hot breath and his lips brushing my ear.
"Be prepared."
That's what he said and he walked out of the studio. I froze and left me tensed because of what he did.
