Encounter IV

"um, thats for thank you for my hair..."

"im not even done yet, jungkook." ji eun giggled.

"oh, yeah so..."

ji eun suddenly kissed his cheek, jungkook's round eyes widen "and this is for nothing, i just wanted to." says ji eun.

jungkook was shocked from the sudden kiss but she continued on trimming jungkook's hair. actually deep inside, ji eun was so nervous her heart almost burst but she quickly act like nothing happened.

after everything's done, jungkook thanked her and went home smiling like the god have him a huge fortune for his all generations. while ji eun, she had to calm herself down, she sat there for 10 minutes while she rests her hand on her beating heart. "what was that? why my heart beating like crazy? its not like i love him???"

on his way home, he kept thinking about ji eun and makes him shyly exposing his braces like a dork. ah, wait, i forgot to ask her phone number. thought jungkook. he'll just have to wait until monday then.

its the last semester of his final year, and the teacher gave the announcement for the extra class for the seniors and every senior students sighed. "ahhh, its our last semester and we have to really study hard to get into university!" min yoongi groaned.

"talking about university, what course are you guys going to take?"

jungkook raised his eyebrows. "i-i havent figure that out yet..." he just realised it.

"i think im going to study mathematical science... i think." park jimin said unsurely.

"im going to study philosophy or psychology!" namjoon said it with confident.

"im going to figure it out later," jungkook claimed, and yoongi agreed with him because he also not sure what is he gonna further his studies on?

while they were discussing, jungkook suddenly remembered that he need to get ji eun's phone number. "ah, i need to go right now, see you guys around and see you in class, namjoon." even before his friends get to say anything he rushed into where the classes are. then he remembered namjoon said that ji eun's class is actually 2 levels below their class so thats mean ji eun's class in on level 1.

once he get there, he was so nervous and his palm are sweating like hell but when he looked inside the class, ji eun is not there so he thought ji eun might went to somewhere else so he waited in front of her's class until one of her classmate approached him, "who are you waiting for?" she asked.

"ah, im waiting for ji eun, do you know where she went?"

"ji eun didnt come to class today, i think something happened to her because her best friend looks very sad. do u want me to call soo
bin for you?"

"yeah, if she dont mind."

jungkook saw her classmate is talking to soo bin and soo bin looked at jungkook. then she walked towards him "you dont have to wait for ji eun anymore. she wont be coming to school... at least for the meantime."

"what do you mean for the meantime? is she...okay? did something bad happened to her?"

"im sorry but i cant tell you much but one thing i can say is that, she's gonna be fine because im gonna be with her so dont worry." jungkook looked at her eyes, she looks like shes about to cry. and jungkook didnt want to worsen the situation so he just nodded and left.

"did something bad happened?"
"is ji eun okay?"
"is she hurt?"
"or is it because of me?"

jungkook have so many questions in his mind but all of them are unanswered. namjoon who took a sit beside jungkook looked at him worriedly, so he elbowed the boy, "what are you thinking? still your blind date girl?" he joked.

"yeah"

the answer shocked namjoon, he didn't expect for jungkook to be thinking about girls. especially he didnt lie about it.

"dude, if you wanna talk about it, im here you know?"

"yeah i know. dont worry, i havent figure things out yet. if then, i'll let you know." jungkook smiled.

"did you had kimbab for lunch?"

"how did you know that?" jungkook shooked.

"you have yellow radish on your braces, dude" namjoon laughed until his dimples are visible.

"oh hehe" jungkook looked at the window's glasses to clean his braces but he suddenly saw ji eun passed by she went to the principle's office. he wanted to see her badly but the moment he's about to leave the class his teacher, mr seokjin just arrived. she looked like she cried last night, jungkook whispered.

"what happened to her?"

throughout the class, for the first time jungkook didnt pay attention to. he just couldn't focus to the board. ji eun's swollen eyes and puffy face keep bothering his mind. he couldnt take his mind off of her.
