I am the all-seeing eye
Blinking calmly in violent gusts,
A perilous pantomime
Rooted in a raging flamingo.
I am complacent beauty,
Sweet and steady
In a windowless gaze
Upon a waterless shore;
The terror of night
At the breaking of dawn,
The stillness that echoes
In a crowded hall.
I am a howling wind
On a bright summer's day,
Basking in moonlight
On a star far away-
I am silence,
The void; A shriek
From a throbbing pulse
Rising swiftly on the fringe;
An Atlas, Prometheus,
Dropping four corners
That pinnacle to a trifector
Of intimate knowledge.
I am one;
And I am many,
My pieces stretched
Close beyond
The mortal touch
Of humanity.
