Gaius gave me some potion to get rid of the 'curse'.
I drank it and kept the bottle. I need something to choke Gwaine with.
I entered the court room, all the knights was in there, but I didn't care right now.
"Princess!" Gwaine smiled widely, the half-drunk ass he is. "How did it go?"
"Do you know what this is?" I held up the bottle.
"A... glass... bottle?" He looked unsure.
"This is the bottle of the cure to the love curse I was under, according to Merlin. This is also the bottle that will lead to your death." I held it in his face, "Now, open up. I'll allow you to swallow it whole, or, of course, I can break it and you can swallow that."
Percival came to Gwaine's rescue. "What has happened? What did he do?"
"He-!" Wait... then I'll have to tell them about my feelings for Merlin... Never ever.
"I only found out who he likes and helped him." Gwaine shrugged.
"GWAINE!" I yelled at him.
"Okay, princess." He turned serious now and got away from his grip. "These people spend more time with Merlin than you do. They know him, talk to him, and know things about him. Perhaps you should ask them for help before you assume they'll just walk straight up to merlin and tell him everything!"
"GWAINE! I yelled again. It was a grate speech, not that I would tell him that, but he also told them.
"You're in love with Merlin?" Percival asked.
I nodded slowly.
"And nothing you've tried works?"
"Well... I haven't tried a lot, yet..." I admitted.
"So, you've tried to flirt with him?" Percival asked. I nodded. "What have you done to impress him?
"Impress him?"
"Yeah? Like... you haven't tried to impress him?" He looked at me rather strangely.
"Well, no... impress him, how?"
"Showing off your sword fighting? Save him from some bandits, perhaps. Or win a tournament in his name?" The others around us nodded.
"I can't go public with this!" I argued. "I'm the king! I'm not supposed to be with a servant! Much less a boy!"
The others agreed.
"I think maybe showing off a bit might work. It seems like he's interested in sword fighting and, believe it or not, knife throwing." Gwaine snickered. "He's in complete daze when he's watching Mordred throwing knives."
Mordred blushed.
I couldn't help but feel jealous... Merlin watches him fight. Does he watch me fight as well?
Either way. The plan, formed within 10 minutes, was for me to impress Merlin with some sword fighting tomorrow. I'm not a master with the knives, no need to try to impress him with something I'm bad at.
I'm on the training grounds, Merlin's watching. But not me.
He's watching Mordred.
Suddenly, Mordred broke out laughter and sent a glare over to Merlin, who smirked in return.
What?
Mordred continued, but smirked from time to time. So did Merlin.
So much for trying to impress him.
