"We must lock him up." She spoke in hushed whisper. Her husband shook his head, his eyes were laced with doubt and worry with his decision.

"No. Must he get out and he will wreck havoc on us and the town, more than he ever has. The beast will seek revenge, for the wrong doings we have bared him." Her husband countered. She knew he was right, nibbling her fingers like a scared rabbit, she agreed silently. The man took the torch away from the sleeping beast, grasped his wife's hand like it had been the first time he met her, and fled the cave.

The beast, smirked. Foolish.

He thought.

We should go rip off their heads.

And so, The Beast who once slept, followed the innocent couple to a clearing in the woods. And once the world was still and quiet, he lunged for his prey.

Poor husband and wife. They should've locked The Beast up when they had the chance.
