I sit up, looking over at my alarm with annoyance while yawning. I reach over and grab it. With a woosh, it soars over to my dirty laundry basket and lands amongst the dirty clothes, its screeches muffled. Stretching my arms, I throw back my covers and get out of bed. I slip on my pink bunny slippers and head towards my kitchen. Closing my eyes for a couple of seconds due to another yawn, I bump into one of the hallway walls, my face getting smashed against the wall.
"Ow!" I stumble back, clutching my nose since it took the force. I rub it for a second, then I continue on to my kitchen. Walking to my fridge, I open the door, hoping to make myself a bowl of cereal. The only thing I am met with is disappointment, for I am all out of milk. Crossing my arms, I let out a sigh and pout.
"Aw, poo. No more milk. Looks like I'll have to go to the grocery store."
I brighten up and a smile comes to my face when an idea comes to mind. I can buy supplies to make ice cream floats while I'm at the store! Giggling with anticipation, I rush to my room, now excited for my trip to the grocery store. Quickly opening my closet door, I pull out a white T-shirt with a kawaii neko girl on it and jean overalls with cute rips on the knees. I throw off my light blue tank top and pull on my T-shirt. Then I shimmy out of my blue bunny covered shorts and shimmy into my overalls. Picking my dirty clothes up, I walk over to my dirty laundry hamper, and toss my alarm out of it and onto my bed. Then I stash my dirty pjs in the basket. Turning around, I go over to my bed and grab my alarm, then place it back on my nightstand. Whirling around, I go over to my bed and grab my bubblegum pink hair brush and begin to brush my red waves. It takes me about 10 minutes to get all of the tangled out of it. My hair always gets tangled during when I sleep. Finishing with that, I set my hair brush down and go to my bathroom. I grab my pink toothbrush, grab my minty toothpaste, and put some toothpaste on my toothbrush. I start to brush my teeth. As I do so, I think of what Daddy is doing right now. I grin, knowing exactly what he is doing, or at least getting ready to do; he's getting his lessons ready for his students at UA High, a prestigious school for kids my age who have quirks and want to be heroes. I still can't believe that All Might, the symbol of peace, adopted me and brought me to Japan. It still makes my head spin with disbelief, but here I am. I must be one of the luckiest kids ever to have All Might as a dad, even if not biologically. Grinning at my reflection in the mirror, I spit out the toothpaste into the sink and watch it drain out of the sink. I then put my toothbrush and toothpaste back in their original spots and leave the bathroom. Running to my room, I grab a thin light blue jacket. I slip on my socks and pull on my black Converse. Looking around, I spot my bunny phone cased phone sitting on my nightstand and grab it. I slip it into my pocket and close my bedroom door as I leave my room. I walk over to the cookie jar that is filled with grocery money and take out some. I close it again and walk out of the kitchen, in search of my house key.
"Oh, fudge nuggets. I know I put it somewhere here in the living room."
I suddenly remember where I put my house key. I skip over to the coffee table and swipe my house key. Grinning, I walk out of the house and lock the door, then put the key in my jacket pocket. Humming to myself, I walk down the sidewalk when something suddenly tackles me to the ground.
"Oof!"
My face begins to get assaulted with doggy kisses. I sit up, giggling as Bolt, a German Shepard, keeps on kissing me.
"Okay, Okay, that's enough, Bolt!" I say in between laughs.
"Get off of Rosie, Bolt."
I look over to see Shoko, my best friend, standing there with a grin on his face. He comes up to me and helps me up after Bolt gets off.
"Looks like you're still Bolt's favorite person." He chuckles.
I giggle.
"I guess so."
He looks at me suspiciously while wearing a grin on his face.
"Your sky blue eyes are just sparkling with mischief. What are you up to?"
I wave my hands around, signaling to him that I am not up to anything.
"I'm not up to anything. I'm just going to get some milk from the grocery store since we ran out."
He laughs as a realization dawns upon him.
"You're gonna get supplies for root beer floats, aren't you?"
I chuckle sheepishly as I blush with embarrassment due to him being dead on with his guess.
"You got me."
He smirks playfully.
"Of course I did. I've known you since we were 5."
I laugh at that.
"That's true. I better go so I can get milk for my cereal."
He nods, causing his black waves to bounce slightly.
"Right."
He turns and whistles.
"Come on Bolt. Lets go back inside."
He shoos Bolt to the front door of his house and walks up to the stairs. He turns and grins at me.
"Get enough supplies so that I can have one too!"
"Okay!" I say while laughing quietly to myself.
{ Time skip }
Happily humming to myself, I walk into the grocery store as the doors slide open automatically with a ding! I grab a small basket to hold my stuff in. I scurry over to the area where the cold stuff has to be kept, which includes milk. I spot where they have the milk and open the door, pulling out a gallon of milk and placing it into my basket. I close the door and go in search of my root beer float supplies.
After I find them, I start towards the checkout lines. A bag of my favorite candy catches my eye and scurry over to the candy and grab a bag. I turn around and bump into someone.
Hello dear readers! Thank you for reading chapter 1 of this story! I really do appreciate it. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this chapter. I was inspired to write this book due to not only my love of My Hero Academia, but also my love for Bakugo. Gotta love that human version of a bomb. 💣 I understand that I might make some errors while writing this story, and I do hope you'll understand and forgive me on that. I'm only in 8th grade, so I still have a lot to learn, so please don't get upset with my grammatical errors. Any who, lets continue on to chapter 2.
