"Mama." Jayden's young and hyper voice broke through the house.

His mother spun around to see her son cutely putting on his pants for the first time as he jumped up and down to try to fit into the pants that was a few sizes small for him.

She cooed at the young child. You would think her being half wolf half demon, she would be a heathen and a total out cast but that couldn't be the furthest thing from the truth. Though it was quite irresponsible to leave a six year old at home, we have done this time and time again to help her family stay under the veil. Jayden awoke at the crack of dawn and called out for his mother and father but a suspicious silence followed, they weren't there. He had never woke up without the loving parents on his heels to make his life a joy. He found himself slug in the chair he was sitting in after looking for his parents. Then the tears of the young Jayden started to flow profusely. He was scared and dreaded the moment. He didn't even notice when he cried himself to sleep just to hear the knocking on the front door. Then he got excited but Jayden was not stupid. He knew if it was his parents, they would open with a key. So he got the stool he would usually stand on to see through the peephole to see a black male police officer and a Caucasian female officer. You might wonder what their ethnicity had anything to do with it but his parents always told him to look at details of every person and always get their name which was strange to him at his age, but he obeyed anyway. He quickly open the door thus shocking the two officers.

"Good morning young man." The female office started. "Is there anyone else here?" To which he just shook his his head "no".

"Oh goodness, he's home alone Carl."

"I know you don't know us, this is officer Carl Gonzales and my name Melissa Holmes. I would need for you to come with us to the police station. Is that okay?" She asked in a tender voice like his mother would.

He shook his he again at the officer to notify them of his agreement. Though the officers were thankful they didn't have a hard time getting him to come with them.

It took a thirty minute drive to the station where the officers put him in the care of an elderly woman who was the unfortunately the person to tell the young child that his parents were no longer with him.
