"Ya know something Pete?" Cassie asked, "what's that Cassie?" Peter asked back, "I'm really liking these upgrades from Mr. Stark." Cassie said looking at her new suits. "Yeah I am too." Peter said excitedly.
Peter was upgraded from his old hoodie to a red and blue body suit. Cassie was upgraded from her green shirt and leggings to a dark green body suit with an atom symbol in the middle.
"Hey why's yours an atom?" Peter asked looking at Cassie's suit.
Cassie shrugged, "I dunno. But I kinda like it."
Suddenly a knock came at the door, it was happy. "Come on you two we gotta get going!" He yelled at the door.
Peter lit up like a child and grabbed Cassie's hand and pulling her outside.
Peter was unable to sit still for very long in his seat, he had no idea what the two were doing, but he sure was excited about it.
Happy pulled into an airport terminal. "Wait wait is Mr. stark sending us home? But we never got to do anything!" Peter exclaimed
"Calm down! Mr Stark wants you two to wait there for a signal." Happy said, "Well what's the signal?" Cassie asked, "you'll know once you hear it." Happy said, escorting the twins to a hiding spot.
A few hours had passed when the Avengers had arrived.
"OOOH PETER LOOK THE AVENGERS!!" Cassie whisper- exclaimed, "who's the excited one now?" Peter smirked. "Shut up! It's the avengers for God sake!" Cassie said as Peter pulled out his cell phone and pressed record.
"Okay so there's iron man, captain America, black widow and woah! Hey cass who's the new guy?" Peter asked leaning over, "I have no clue." Cassie said
"Underoos!! Underees!!" Tony suddenly yelled. "Oh gotta go." Peter said to the phone as he aimed for a ledge, shot a web, and flipped in on a web. Cassie jumped and flew in similar to Scarlet Witch.
Upon landing, Peter webbed Cap's hands together and Cassie compressed them webs, making them hard like steel and lifted Steve's shield into her hands
"Who the hell are these kids?!" Falcon shouted, "Cap- Captan big fan. Spider-Man." Peter stuttered. "Who are you?" Steve asked Cassie.
"Ca-" "that's not the point, listen we could either do this the easy way or the hard way Cap, your choice." Tony said
The statement made Cassie's insides boil, it was truly a simple thing she Cassie knew that, but she flew all the way from Queens practically against her will, but she didn't want this to be all for nothing.
Cassie was snapped out of her thoughts when she heard "alright I guess we're doing this the hard way."
Suddenly Peter took Cassie by the waist and swung them by a web. "What are you doing?! I can fly idiot!!" Cassie exclaimed. "Yeah well you weren't paying attention." Peter said as they landed on a rooftop.
"Tell me this Peter, why is it that you're getting all the attention from Stark?" Cassie asked, getting annoyed "What the hell are you talking about? Cass this is a chance of a lifetime, I have no idea why you're getting so upset over something so tiny." Peter said ignoring the fight below.
"Because Peter, I didn't even want to be here! Then I get here and it feels like it's all for nothing!" Cassie yelled "hey when you two are done arguing we could use some help here!" Tony suddenly yelled through their eyepiece.
Cassie groaned and flew off.
"Hey Friday, cut off all earpiece from everyone on my side except Cassie. And do the same with her and I " Tony said, attempting to blast Wanda. "Got it." Friday said
"Hello Ms Cassie." Tony said
"Yeah Mr. Stark?" Cassie asked
"I wanted to talk to you."
"Can it wait until we're done here?"
"Well I thought about it but I thought you'd probably need to hear what I have to say. I didn't bring you and your brother here for reason. Potential. You and your brother have massive amounts of potential and I can even see you two being future avengers. But in you, and don't tell your brother this, I can really see you specifically kicking butt as one of my sidekick then kicking butt all on your own." Tony said genuinely.
"Really?" Cassie asked in disbelief.
"Yes really. Now go help your brother kick captain's ass. Friday reconnect everyone." Tony chuckled.
Cassie's eye caught Peter getting crushed by a ramp.
"Here we go."
