You scratch the back of your head as you make your way down the stairs, your eyes immediately locking with Jisung who was sitting on the sofa. His lips tugged into a smile and you can tell he's trying to hold back a laugh.

Growing even more confused when he burst into a fit of giggles and flees into the kitchen. You don't know what's so funny, but you just let Jisung be Jisung.

"Morning." Mark's voice ring in your ears as soon as you entered the kitchen. You jump slightly, swiftly turning around on your feet to face him.

"Hi." You greet awkwardly, seeing from the corner of your eye Jisung pursing his lips together to prevent a grin.

Mark eyes you carefully, making you feel flustered under his gaze that you adjust the shoulders of your backpack. His head cocks to the side and he's taking a step closer to you.

You flinch when he presses his palm to your forehead. "You're going to school today?" He asked, voice filled with slight concern. "Are you feeling better?"

Your fingers wrap around his wrist, lowering his hand. You smile vaguely at him to not concern him. "I'm fine. A little cough here and there, but I'm fine."

"Are you sure? You don't need anything?"

"I'm fine, Mark."

Meanwhile, Jisung is covering his mouth trying his best not to fanboy at the scene in front of him. His plans were coming together, yet not quite finished.

He needs backup.

After school, you had to pick up Jisung and to your surprise, he has a friend over. Someone about his age, same school. They both are staying the weekend since their parents are busy, so that leaves you, two kindergartners, to watch.

Jisung wanted to introduce you to him, and you couldn't reject his offer.

He sits on your lap with his friend on the other side of you. He's cute and short like Jisung. They must hang around each other a lot that they have similar personalities which you can tell.

"Noona, that's my best friend," He states, pointing to the little boy beside you. "Chenle."

"H-Hello..." He greets shyly.

You reply to his greeting with a smile, petting both of their heads. He seemed a little on the bashful side, but he'll soon loosen up a bit the more time he spends here.

"Well, I'll go get dinner started," You lift Jisung off your lap and onto the couch. "And Jisung, do your work."

"No promises." He salutes.

As soon as you left the room, Jisung scoots closer to Chenle. He wraps an arm around his shoulder just to pull him close.

"She's nice and pretty," Chenle says out of the blue.

Jisung nods, slapping him on the back. The little boy winces, glaring over at him. "Yes, my noona is pretty, but she's not for you!" He declares. "We have to stick to the plan."

"W-What plan?"

"The plan," He emphasizes. "I told you in the car."

"What kind of plan is that?" He questions. "Shouldn't they get together on their own?"

"No! They're terrible at that." Jisung was right. No matter what encounter you have with him, you both can't really communicate well. "They need me."

"So, they're not together?"

"No..." He sighs then smirks. "Well, not yet."

"I see..."
