To say that life has been kind to Jonathon Elliot would be an overstatement. However, life always has a funny way of messing up with her plans and this "break" Sofia stubbornly looks for could only spell "Heartbreak" in the form of one Jonathon Elliot.

Mix into the equation a meddling rich uncle and a cheeky housekeeper, a competitor in the form of a best friend whose mother puts Maleficent to shame and of course, the occasional loony, crazy "mysterious" person who is hell-bent on ending the Elliots once and for all.

Everyone has a tragic story to tell. In fact, tragedy has become quite a cliche. However, the way one overcomes tragedy is the catalyst that makes for a good story. Would you say that you care more about how a person crashes and burns than how a person rises from those ashes? Would you rather hear about the people one saves or how one saves these people? Do you eagerly anticipate the ending of a love story or do you prefer reading about its build up to a happy (or not so happy) ending?

Let's face it. Curiousity is innate; it is human nature, never mind that it has killed a whole lot of the feline race.

It is in our genetic makeup to peruse lives and tragedies not to find grief or feel pity for those victims but to actually root for them. We take more notice of how the cogs and knobs of a tower clock works rather than the actual time it presents.

We All Want To Know the Goings-on Between What Happened and What Happens.

We Thirst for What Goes On Between The Beginning of a Tragedy and The Emancipation from It.

And this story, My Dearest Sofia, is about the in-betweens.

It is about a woman's coming of age.

It is about a man rising from the rubble of tragedy.

It is about breaking hearts and mending souls.

It is about how families and friendships are torn apart in order to make whole.

Yes, it might be a cliche but then, some cliches turn out to be quite interesting... if you dare to discover it.

I've casted Emma Watson as Sofia Wright because I believe she can be both innocent and extremely sensual with lots of sex appeal.

As for the mighty handsome, sexy and brooding Jonathon Elliot, I've thought of a lot of candidates (since I am boy-crazy ;)) : Ben Barnes, Ian Sommerhalder, Ryan Gossling etc... But for now, I've been obsessing with Aaron Tviet coz he was so hot as Enjolras in Les Miserables.

However, guys, please feel free to suggest your own character representation. If you want to make me a book cover as well or something, hit me with your best shot. I am always generous with my dedications, follow-backs, comments and votes.
