Chapter 5
That's what keeps you human...pain
I was sitting in my room peacefully, going through all my closs, and listening to some music when i was interrupted by a phone call from stiles.
"Hello?"
"Alyssa hey... there was a murder and we think it was the alpha and by we i mean, me"
"Thank you stiles for being so horribly blunt"
"Yeah yeah yeah... just get down to the movie store... oh shit"
"Stiles what?"
"Its lydia and jackson... they were attacked"
"Stiles i'll be there soon bye"
And with that i hung up on him. Sure jackson was a jackass and lydia can be a bitch, but i actually like lydia she tries to hide all her smarts but she really doesnt do a good job of it... and jackson... meh. I run down stairs and out the door, derek has been out all night probably tracking the alpha, so i don't have to deal with him telling me to stay put.
I ran through the woods and finally end up at the movie store, i looked around and there were loads of cop cars and ambulances, as soon as i see lydia and jackass- i mean jackson at the ambulance i run over to make sure lydia's okay.
"Lydia! Are you okay" i said running up to the her and inspecting her for injuries
"Alyssa wha-" jackson began to question me but i cut him off
"Can it whitmore" i snapped and turned back to lydia who looked like she was in a drug haze.
"I-i-i-i it came at m-me... i-it was a m-monst-ter" she stuttered out, she was scared out of her mind, i turned to jackson because i felt bad for snapping at him
"And you?" i asked him, he looked really confused by this
"What?" he asked again seeming to not get the gist of the question
"Are. you. okay?" i asked clarifying it for him, he looked surprised at my concern but just nodded to signify he was fine.
"Oh wow is that a dead body" stiles finally shouts getting my attention to focus on the dead body that was being wheeled out of the shop. I look up a little bit more and see derek and scott on the roof so that were he went i thought to myself. I caught derek eye as he was explaining something to scott, he gave me a stern nod which i returned and then derek walks back off the roof leaving scott to stair at the scene. I turned to stiles and gave him a slight smile before turning around and running into the woods again back home.

I arrived at about the same time as scott and derek and heard then conversing inside.
"I have a life you know" scott said to my brother
"No you don't" my brother said bluntly making me cringe
"Yes i do.I don't care what you say about him making me his pet or somthing" scott shouted
"Part of his pack" derek corrected
"whatever... i have homework to do" scott said and derek gave him that face that says are-you-serious before scott continued "i have a parent teacher conference tomorrow because i'm failing chemistry" scott said annoyed
"You want to do homework or do you wanna ...not die" i said stepping into their conversation, both boys rolled there eyes at me.
"You have less than a week until the next full moon, you don't kill with him, he kills you" derek states
