Chapter 16

Liam's POV

I woke up next to the most beautiful girl in the world. Julia was sound asleep in my arms. The only difference between her now her a few hours before, she was smiling. I just realized how much I have missed her smile. I didn't want to ever get up from this bed with her.

No longer than 10 minutes passed with me staring at the angel in my arms, did I hear the doorbell ring.

"God dammit" I mumbled. I slowely moved her from ontop of my arm. Thank the lords she is a heavy sleeper. I pulled on sweats and walked downstairs shirtless. I rubbed my eyes on the way to the door and still had my hand on my eye as I pulled open the door and a stressed out Zayn followed by Louis burst into my house, proceeding into the living room.

"Uh. Yea. Come on in," I said "I mean it's not like it's only 6 in the morning or anything."

"Sorry Mate. This is important," Louis apologized "Did you hear?"

"What? No? Hear what?" I asked.

"Harry's not in Britain anymore." Zayn stated.

"And? Like I care." I said shocking them.

"Okay. I understand you two are arguing at the moment but you just need to forgive and forget. We have to be on the x-factor in less than a week! We need him!" Zayn half yelled.

"Okay 1. Pipe down! Julia is still sleeping. 2. Don't you dare tell me to forgive him... He raped Julie last night!!" I whisper screamed. The shocked looked on their faces would have blinded a deer. For awhile no one said anything.

"Follow me." I stated after a long while of silence. I led the boys to the glass door that led to the backyard. We slid outside and shut the door before I began telling the story of what Julie told me.

"Well. I found her when she was in the cemetery talking to her mom. Well her mom's grave. I guess you could say we patched things up so she hopped in my car and I brought her back here. Before we were even here, she had passed out. I picked her up and brought her up to our room where I dressed her in something more comfortable than her wet clothes. After that I made the mistake of leaving her alone. I went to go visit Harry in the hospital.. I don't know who put him in there but he sure as hell deserved it" As I said that last part I couldn't look them in the eyes so I just randomely looked around with mock innocence.

"Anyways. I went to go visit him for some odd reason, but the little bastard wasn't there! Apparently, according to Julia, while I was there, Harry came here. She had jumped into the shower and when she got out he was there. No matter how much she protested, he continued to take her against her will. She couldn't do anything. He is too strong for her to even try to struggle against him." The look of shock stayed glued to their faces for who knows how long.

"Anyways, that's probably why he isn't in Britain anymore. He most likely knew I'd come after him." I stated bluntly.

"So are you?" Louis asked.

"Am I what?" I asked

"Going to go after him?"

"Of course. That's the only logical option I see. Do you see another?" I asked

"I would say just let it go but this isn't one of those instances. Im pretty sure he's headed to California." Zayn spoke up.

"Hey that reminds me. Don't we have to be in California in the nexg few days anyways?" Louis asked. Leave it to Louis to accidentally change the subject.

"Wait? What? Why?" I asked dumbfounded.

"The X-Factor? You know. The TV show we are all supposed to be competing on?" Louis said as if I was stupid.

"Well. Now I've got even more of a reason to catch the first flight I can get to California." I pondered.

"What about Julia? We can't just leave her here." Zayn reminded me.

"Who said anything about leaving her her?" I asked
