Chapter 1

"I'm making food go clean your room up and come down" I nod my head

I run up the stairs and down the hall into my room and plop on my bed.

She thought I was gonna be cleaning my room.

I close my eyes and rest, first day of school and I'm already exhausted

"Foods done!"

I walk down stairs and the smell of food hits my nose.

"Mmm" I moan of the pleasurable smell.

Edward comes down the stairs right next to me and we both walk into dining room where my mom and dad is talking they both see us and smile.

"We got invited to the neighbors house on Sunday for dinner, they have a son around your age" mother says pointing to both of us

We both grab a chair and sit down where everyone else is eating.

After dinner Mylee called me and we both talked about plans this weekend and the coming up fair.

We figured out that we are going to meet up at the fair and she is gonna come home with me and my brother.

We eventually hung up and I go get in the shower.

For my clothes to wear to school I picked out a hoodie and American eagle jeans.

I curl my hair and brush my teeth, then I put some mascara on and slip my white classic vans on.

I run downstairs and I grab a banana that is sitting on the counter. Edward is sitting on the couch with his phone in one hand and his car keys in the other.

"I'm ready" I tell him getting his attention

"Alright let's go"

We pull up to the school and get out "thank you for the ride" I tell him and he nods we walk in and go opposite ways.

"hey" someone taps me on the shoulder to get my attention I look to see who it is and it's the boy from yesterday.

"Hey Cole what's up?" I smile and I walk to my locker while he walks with me.

"a friend of mine is having this party tomorrow you should come" I turn towards him and stop at my locker

"I doubt it because my dad is strict and my brother would never let me go by myself" his face expression changes to confusion

"Your brother already said he is going?"

I smile "I will be there then" a large smile appears on his face

"See you there"

I grab my stuff and shut my locker and walk down to first hour.

A party, why didn't Edward tell me about it.

I walk inside the class and sit down at a desk.

English is definitely not one of my favorite classes.

I take a seat right next to mylee. Today she is wearing a black tube top and a red leather jacket with clear lip gloss on.

"Did you get invited to the party?" I nod and she starts to get excited.

"You have to come to my house and we can get dressed and stuff there!!!"

"My brother is going so just come to my house and he can give us a ride"

"That sounds gr-"

"Hello ladies" a husky voice appears out of no where

"What do you want Edward?" I'm mad at him for not mentioning a party to me and he could of told me

"What are you up to?" He asks questioning my look

"Nothing just got invited to a party by a boy I'm sorry that you didn't get invited" I give him puppy eyes and mylee speaks up

"I thought you said he-" I kick her foot under the table and she shuts up.

"Fine I'm sorry for not telling you i just didn't think you would want to go"

"And why is that?" I ask him

"Because of your problem" he whispers quieter this time.

"Just Go" I tell him and he rolls his eyes and leaves.

"Your problem"

Who the fuck does he think he is to come over here and talk so Highly of "my problem"

"What was-" I take my tray and dump it in the trash and leave out of the cafeteria.

"Who is he too say I have a problem."

"I don't"

"It's not a problem"

"I-I just can't help it" walking in the hallway I decide to go left. Taking me to a longer hallway.

"No,-no I-I'm sorry -it- won't ha-ppen a-again" a boy faintly yelling by the bathroom.

I creep up by the boys bathroom and see a boy being held by a larger boy. The larger boy has a grip onto the smaller boys hair.

"Who do you think you are!? Treating women like they are anything! Your mom should have taught you a few things" I see the boys back of the head and he turns slightly the bigger boy is Brennan.

The boy on the ground is more scared of Brennan and what he might do to him then anyone else.

"I'm- I'm sorry I-I didn't know that you cared- I won't -do-o it -again" he starts to cry

Brennan let's go if his hair and pushes his head down.

"You don't think I care? No girl deserves to be harassed"
my mouth agape open from being shocked.

"She -loved m-me" Brennan starts to laugh "yet you didn't love her you loved the idea of being with her"

"Run Now"

The scared boy runs off and doesn't even take a glance at me when he passes by me in the entrance.

"I think he might have peed a little" I comment making Brennan laugh

"I'm Azalea" he looks up at me and gives me a smile.

"Brennan" I give him a polite smile

"Don't we have P.E. Together?"

"Ahh the class I'm always late for" we both laugh

"You should come to my party tonight, my parents are away and we have a pool"

"You had me at party"

"Do you have snapchat?"

"Yeah my username is azalea_kay15"

"I will add you"

"Great I will see you at p.e if you go"

He chuckles then I leave with a smile on my face.
