I opened my eyes, I can't focus. While trying to orient myself I crawled to the nearest cover I could see. After a few seconds I regained my focus. I peeked through the sides of the thin broken wood which I considered cover. I see Liam angrily stabbing an enemy at the chest, then he went for the neck. Ben spotted me and helped me up. They flushed out the enemies.
"Where's your gun" Ben exclaimed, "I-I don't -", then I saw my m16. I walked over to get it then more of the bad guys started shooting at us. One got Liam at the leg. " GET DOWN!" Justin shouted. The ear piercing gunshots kept going and going. Everyone other than me was firing. My whole life was flashing before my eyes, o mother, how could I have failed you and our family. Oh that's right, it's that son of a bitch named Keegan. I closed my eyes but I got stopped by a radio transmission, "Hold tight Sierra-Niner, this is a friendly F-22 scooping out the bad guys.". The F-22 blazed through the sky, machine guns rolling at the enemies. We looked amazed while seeing a bunch of enemies falling one by one. "Uh, guys", Justin spoke in a shaking voice while looking at the sky. "Why what's wrong? Justin?" Liam looked at him then also looked at the sky, apparently we all did. That's when we knew that Justin wasn't looking at the sky, we are looking at a missile probably 1000 feet away that's going for us. "HQ this is Sierra-Niner who the hell dropped a bomb on us", Ben shouted at his radio. I put down my gun, " I don't know man but we gotta run". We all ran from our position, enemies still shooting at us. I looked to my right where Liam is and he's getting shot at, a bunch of bullet holes at his back. He took a cold stare at me, and then he fell down. I still ran as fast as I could. "Just. Keep. Ru-", Justin took a bullet deep in the brain, cutting off his sentence. He fell down. The game's only me and Ben now. Then we both heard a loud boom behind us. I stayed conscious in the whole explosion, but I think my whole left leg is broken.

I spotted my best friend huddled under a big cement rock. I started crawling to him. My hands bleeding because of the broken glass spread along the floor, with each pull I can feel my muscles rip. My whole weight is depending on my arms. I look at Ben, hoping he is still alive. With one final pull with my right hand, I can finally reach him with my left. I sat next to him.
I put my hand at his neck, no pulse.
I scrambled at my bag to get the morphine. I know morphines not gonna work on a man with no pulse, but I just gotta give everything for my only pal in the military. Then I suddenly heard men. Not out men, but the bad men. I got some blood from the ground and applied it everywhere on my body, then I laid flat, faking dead on the floor. The voices grew louder and louder until I know that they're right at my feet. This one problem got me worried, they stopped. Right at my feet they stopped and they examined dead bodies.
Ben suddenly coughed
Sh*t he is alive

Before the enemy trooper shoots my friend, I stood up, "STOP!" I exclaimed. All of them looked at me, guns aimed at my head and at my chest. "Spare him, take me". One of the men laughed, "You think you're going to be a hero" one of the men said, " Let me tell you why it's not possible", the man removed his helmet, he is Keegan Alvin, the head of the enemy forces. What the hell is he doing joining a examining squad. " In this world you you gotta sacrifice anything, you sacrifice anything for power. In that instance... you'll never be a hero". He pointed his pistol at me and he pulled the trigger. The blinding light woke me up from my sleep.
Oh it was just a dream. I'm back at the training camp. Outside the window I could see soldiers crowding outside. Looks like somethings up.
