Backstory: When Addison was 9, she ran away from her very abusing family. She found herself in Hawkins, Indiana where Joyce Byers and her family graciously took her in and took care of her. She quickly made friends with Will and his friends, becoming especially close to Eleven and Dustin. She had to go into the upside down to find Will, she got lost for a few days. When Joyce and Hopper found her, she was perfectly fine, but had episodes quite frequently.
