Chapter 4

Violet

Walking through the forest, my right broken wing in pain as the blood trail would lead me to a tree in the clearing of the middle of the forest. My eyes would shift from red to blue. Looking around, I could only hear the sounds of the creatures of the night.

I soon here whispers in my head "Awe, look at the little defenceless girl that lays before me, I'm so sick a tired of this, get up and go on a killing spree already!" I hear the male voice yell. "Shut up, Shut up, Shut Up!" she would hold her head close. "I just killed my family... I don't want to kill anyone else...." "Well too bad, your under my control, you will kill, no matter what you say or do" "Leave me alone, theirs no one in this stupid world that could help me..."

"Hello, Miss. Chanelle." a dark and deep voice says calmly. I look around confused. "W-who said that!? Show yourself!" I jumped up to my feet holding my blade close ready to strike.

The voice chuckled as a tall dark figure would appear from behind a tree. "Thats quite alright Miss. Chanelle. You can put down the blade please. My name is Mr. Slenderman."

"Why are you here?" I asked as I look at him. Looking up at the faceless man confused.

"Miss. Chanelle, I have seen your work and am quite impressed by it. I have a proposition for you. Come live with me and become one of my Proxies. But whatever you do. Don't listen to the voice in your head, he is lying." Slenderman says as he would concern me at the last thing he said.

"Don't go with him, he's going to hurt you." the voice said as I would look to the side for a bit "I don't care, if he's going to give me a place to stay, I'll follow him..." Isaid back to the voice before looking at Mr. Slenderman "Okay.... But please. I don't want to be hurt anymore."

"I can't promise you that you won't get hurt, but I'll try to make sure that you are not mistreated." He replied.

Over the next few months of being with Mr. Slenderman, my body was put through torturous pain, I knew I had to get out of here, the voice in my head had a change of heart "we kill Slenderman and escape, hopefully finding the Demon along the way"

"What Demon?" I asked as I allowed my wings to heal in preparation for my next round of torture and hopefully, a long awaited murder

"The Demon That will set you free from my control, but first, Slenderman needs to die" the voice replied

I exit my room and walk down the all too familiar halls of the mansion and soon, I find myself in Slender's maze knowing that I will be hunted by him, I have to act fast, this can't go on for much longer but I feel his presence behind me "don't kill, only INCAPACITATE!" I swung my katana at him, slashing his tentacles, watching as with every strike, I grew stronger, and Slenderman weaker, I kicked him to the ground and slashed into his body, his legs and his arms, before, out of hatred, carving a smiley face into that faceless head of his and leaving him there, to let time decide his fate.

As I left Slenderman there to die, I began to struggle to see clearly, thick smoke began to cloud my vision, I thought it was one of Slenderman's tricks to keep me trapped here, until I realised, the mansion was surrounded by fire, I made a break for the nearest escape route and took it, no matter the danger that lied ahead, I found myself running with my wings hidden, arriving on the edge of a small clearing which in the middle stood an old oak tree and under it, a figure with wings
