Chapter 6: One step Ahead One step back.

The environment was just perfect like before. There were patients , whole staff was on its duty and to top all there was this bomb article and her day couldn't get any better. It was evident on her face. There was energy radiating from all around her or may be she was feeling it because it was somewhere inside her. There was a constant smile on her face while she was conversing with one of her colleague.

"It seemed like a long dark night. Everything was gloomy. There was darkness within and outside like storm comes and light goes off."

Her colleague commented about the past week happenings underlining the severe consequences of what happened.

"This darkness is meant to teach us the importance and necessity of light in our lives.
Like if we don't go through hardships it's impossible for us to grow so let us embrace the darkness to be able to find the light."

Armeena replied remembering the column and thinking to use it in today's conversation frequently.

"Aren't you talking more intellectual today? What's going on girlie?"
Her colleague investigated sensing something.

"Oh nothing I just read an article in the morning."

Armeena covered without error.

"How can I forget your only love. Newspaper or more precisely article. Infact article of that one person.
Well is it the articles or the person?"

"Excuse me? What do you mean by the person? Don't shove things into my mind."

Armeena was denying the truth of which her friend was speaking but friends are friends.

"Come on Armeena it's all on your face that you are falling for that man. The love may be for articles but it's diverting and it's visible."

"That much obvious?"

"What's obvious?"

Both of them snapped hearing the voice from behind. Armeena was confirming when Arham interrupted from no where. She composed herself.

"Your uninvited entry."

"I was here to ask can you get free earlier today as Zayn and his mother has invited us on dinner but you look so pissed off so will let you work."

Arham tried his best to remain serious and he was successful in doing so increasing her irritation.

"Armeena never say no to food, Arhammm.

"Who knows better than me Armeenaaa."

"So? Is it a yes?"

"Off course it is."

"I knew it will be yes so I already had told Zayn we all will come. I was here for my own work but decided to not miss the chance of irritating you."

Armeena was fuming in anger.

"And more aptly I was here to see this glow on your face."

Armeena was surprised to hear it and this confirmed that she is making it obvious unknowingly even she herself hadn't given a thought to all of this but this was going somewhere undoubtedly. And to her surprise everyone was so sure and cool about it.
" Well no no I won't go to conclusions until I know what's cooking on the other side and I even am not confirmed where I myself am heading so let it end here for a time."

She thought about it and decided to give it a rest till everything is confirmed because jumping to conclusions and raising hopes is never good for physical and mental health so topic closed.
