It was a close room with prevailing darkness where nothing could be deciphered,no door,no windows,no ventilation just darkness. There was something about that darkness as if the presence of someone, maybe like a stranger's smile or the moment entrapped somewhere waiting to drop or disappear. There was hollowness, emptiness and nothingness followed by peace, comfort and calmness. It was indicating something a death? A life? May be. There was silence but it was talking. It seemed like a silence in darkness after departure of the loved one or the darkness induced to surprise a loved one. There are moments where you are a just a viewer and this was the exact moment in his life where he was standing watching, observing but couldn't talk, couldn't move just standing still. He was mere a viewer with no ability to function with no energy to take action.

The hospital corridors were decorated with penetrating sunrays giving colors to surroundings but the hearts around were so full of sadness that it was impossible to dwell upon the beauty. MELANCHOLIC. Needless to say the picture in the corridor was heart wrenching. SILENT TEARS may be the best description. A mother sitting still, hands raised for prayer. A sister looking at nothing in particular and her face expressing nothing. A friend standing beside a wall staring the OT door. Another friend sitting, praying, weeping yes weeping her heart out in silence. Four people one prayer. The life and health of a single person laying inside surrounded by doctors.
Humans are pathetic, they cry for things and people who are dearest thinking they may die if they don't get them but humans live, life goes on. There is no full stop but there is a scar,a hidden scar left on a flesh residing in the four walls inside the chest which is unbearable and unhealed forever, it may diminishes temporarily at times but it remains intact. This is what they were praying to be protected from,to give them back the most important part of their lives. Prayers are indeed the best gift to someone and they are indeed the best remedy and healing.

Prayers are indeed the best gift to someone and they are indeed the best remedy and healing
