Chapter Two

(Y/n) watched the battle between the two servants from above, she had an enigmatic look on her face. The grail shone brightly between the two, she smiled as Saber swung her sword reluctantly striking the grail. She fell to her knees crying as she slowly faded to gold. Kirei appeared watching the golden King who had a smirk on his face. The black haired female ran out and looked around

"(Y/n)-sama"

The younger girl stayed quiet as the brown haired male pulled out his knife, thinking of a plan to save the female. Sighing, she brushed her hair back.

"Annie-san watch out"

A small pen soared through the sky it was swatted down by the blonde male. The (h/c)-haired girl revealed herself.

"Annie come"

"Yes"

The female ran over to the (h/c)-haired girl, "That man can't protect you, Annie, if he wants to kill you"

"Kill me"

"Let's go, Annie"

"Yes (Y/n)-sama"

"Mongrel who are you to turn your back on a King?"

"(Y/n) (L/n)"

The girl turned her back to the male and kept walking. Annie looked back at the two bowing before pursuing the girl

10 years past, (Y/n) stared at the red mark on her hand blankly, she clasped her hand together before putting on her gloves. Annie bowed before bringing her tea. (Y/n) stared out the window the book in her hand had become one of her treasures, staring at the pages she had a small smile on her face. The book had been a memoir for her mother, everything about her challenges in the Third Holy war was written in the book in neat handwriting. The writing spoke happily about summoning a Golden King and how she was happy about getting a reliable servant.

"Is this the Gilgamesh you've told me about Annie?"

"Ah yes the blonde male that was besides Kirei-sama"

"Mother treasures that servant too much. That's why he couldn't save her", (Y/n) flipped a page, she sighed before brushing her hair to the side. "Mother is quite foolish to trust him"

Annie clasped her hands, "(Y/n)-sama please don't ill talk your mother she has tried to save you from the war"

"A war that ended both her and father's life, if she didn't take part she could've lived"

"Your mother wished for peace more than everything, she wanted you to grow up in a peaceful world"

"My world would be peaceful if I was surrounded by a loving family", sighing the female closed the book and placed it on the table, "Is the summoning circle finished?"

"Yes"

"Great"

(Y/n) headed downstairs, rubbing the outline of the bloody circle made from her blood, she chanted. The circle glowed brightly, red light filled the room, (Y/n) stepped back, a smile appeared on her face,

"Annie look", Annie smiled at the brief hint of childishness from the girl. The red light died down revealing a blue haired male in a skin-tight blue suit. He held a red lancer in his arm and with a smile on his face he spoke.

"Are you my master?"

"I am, may I ask what is your name?"

"Lancer Cú Chulainn, happy to serve you. Master, may I ask what is your wish for the grail?"
