Chapter Nineteen: Do You Accept Me?

Three Days Later:
It's been three days, since the war was over. All of the monsters and evil spirits died when King Death did. So many soldiers survived the war, but only a few of them were dead; including the captain of the guards, Arthur. And as for the kingdom's queen, she was lucky to survive after defeating the king. However, victory costed her eyes. She now has to wear a pair of black and white spiral goggles, in order to heal her eyes.

Danger thought of the goggles as weird, but she has to wear them if she wants to feel better. She was in the throne room, talking to some of the soldiers in the grand council. "Our kingdom is pleased that you're feeling better, your majesty.", Anti said as Danger smiled down at him. "And the kingdom wants to thank you for saving it, our queen. If it wasn't for you, we all would've been dead. Also, you look great with those goggles on your face.", Dark said. Danger was really happy to receive so many compliments from her loyal subjects; who she now calls her friends. "Thank you all for your gratitude. I really appreciate it. Tonight, we feast on a banquet for a job well done. And in memory of Arthur... I will announce the new captain tomorrow night. Now off you all go.", Danger said to everyone. As everyone bowed and left the throne room, Danger sat back on her throne and saw Natemare coming in. He looked at Danger and smiled at her. "I see that you're finally recovering. You're looking more beautiful than ever.", he teased her. "Very funny... Natemare, I want to apologize for breaking up with you. I tried to tell you back on the battlefield, but...", Danger explained. Natemare just looked at her and smiled. "You don't need to say anything else. I never wanted to break up with you either. That's why I gave you back the ring. I wanted to tell you that I still love you, but I didn't know how you would feel.", he explained to her while getting down on his knees. "I figured that. But I have something to ask you: Do you accept me?", Danger asked as Natemare looked up in surprise. "Wh-What?... You still want me, for me?", Natemare asked. Danger got off her throne and ran into his arms. She then kissed him on the lips, and looked up again. "I am your queen. And you will make a very great king... I love you, Natemare...", she whispered to him. Natemare smiled at her, and kissed her again. He even took off her goggles, and he looked into her eyes. "My eyes are still swollen.", Danger said while blushing a bit. "I don't care. I still love you and your eyes no matter what.", Natemare said as they both went back to kissing. These two kept on kissing each other, and didn't stop. As of this point, these two were truly in love with each other again.
