"Camila," I said, "I barely know you. What are you doing?" I removed myself from her embrace, taking a small step back.
"Lauren, it's so obvious from the way you stare. That's why I came here."
"I have a boyfriend. You have a boyfriend."
"That doesn't mean you don't like girls at all," she said with a smug smirk on her face.
"I don't like girls. I'm not gay." Suddenly the front door opened. I walked out of my room to look downstairs and see who it was. My little sister Taylor was home.
"Hey Lauren!" she said.
"Hey Tay. I have a friend here right now so I can't really talk now so please don't bother us and when Chris comes tell him that too."
"Why not?" she asked. "Is it Luis? You know what happened last time..."
"I know Taylor! But no it's not even a guy."
"Fine," she said and walked off. I made my way back into my room and closed the door behind me. Camila was sat on my bed and she looked so beautiful. Truthfully, I might want something to happen with Camila. But I can't hurt what I have with Luis.
"Listen, Camila. We don't really know each other. I accidentally ran into you and then saw you when we were out for dinner. You can't just come in here and..."
"I know and I'm sorry," she said, cutting me off, "I just thought since you stared so much. And the looks you gave me seemed so... desiring."
"It's okay. But can I ask you something?" I asked, and she nodded her head. "Do you like girls?"
"I-I might. I mean.. I could. I don't know," she replied, seeming to be taken aback by my question. I just looked at her and gave her a soft smile, which caused her cheeks to turn a light shade of pink. "Well, I'm kind of tired," she said, breaking the small moment of silence.
"Me too," I replied, quietly yawning and laying down. I pulled Camila next to me and wrapped my arms around her small body.
We laid there like that for about an hour, neither of us sleeping yet. Her head rested on my chest, mine on top of hers. And all I wanted to do was lay there. With her.
But that was wrong. And I knew it.
