Emily Brookes is the daughter of a very wealthy businessman from Great Neck, New York. (the place Great Gatsby was designed after) a fun fact Emily had shouted at me from across the large fence we shared. She had introduced herself to me a few days ago, claiming that "if I were here to stay I'd need to be sweet to her." So that's what I intended to be.
