Chapter 40

Neymar's POV

I watched her walk away from me and I couldn't do anything. From the moment she got into her car I knew that it was the end, the very very end. I went back to the room, I made sure that I didn't have tears on my cheeks or puffy eyes, I can't show weakness because of a girl. When I arrived to the room everything went silent, just like when Javi appeared, I gave them a small smile but everyone was still, nobody moved, they kept staring at me.

"What the hell happened between you and her?" Marc asked me.

"I don't wanna talk about it" I mumbled.

"You have to tell us, we are your friends" Gerard said and I sighed.

"We broke up" I said simply.

"I think that's pretty obvious" Marc said again and I wanted to punch him.

"I said I don't wanna talk about it" I said raising my voice.

"But she is our friend too!" Dani said loudly. "We need to know what happened if you want us to support you!" He said looking me right into my eyes while the room was silent, great.

I took a deep breath and started talking. I told them everything that happened, since Joe appeared until the fight and the break up, they listened attentively to the story; the more I heard the story myself, the more I felt like an idiot. When I finished the room was silent and everyone's eyes were on me.

"You broke up with her because of your jealousy?" Gerard asked with a "Are you serious" tone.

"No" I answered.

"Did you really let go one of the most amazing girls ever because of that?" Marc asked me in disbelief.

"Is not your problem" I said defensively.

"You hurt her because of your stupid jealousy!" He said raising his voice. "Javi is beautiful, you let go a perfect girl because of that!" Marc said and I closed me eyes, I know where this is going. I was going to answer him but Dani interrupted me.

"It doesn't matter why you fought or why you broke up now. Yes, maybe what she did wasn't the best option but is not important now, what's important now is for you to get her back. She is good for you and you are good for her, don't let this tear your beautiful relation apart" Dani said patting my back before leaving the room.

But it didn't matter what they told me, I wasn't going to regret this.

Almost everyone left after Dani and so did I. I drove back to my house with the memories flooding my head... Marc's words were in my mind: "Javi is beautiful, you let go a perfect girl because of that", and maybe he isn't wrong because Javiera is perfect, with her beautiful smile, her green (even if she says they are hazel) eyes, her soft hair, her perfectly-in-shape body, the way she laughs, how she is with Davi, how she can't stand sushi, how everything about her is perfect.
