I Hope You Know// Sope ship

Chapter 2

As Kim Taehyung strolled into the kitchen with J-hope sitting on the stool, he asked, "Did something happen?"

J-hope blushed beet red and stuttered,  " N-no. Um....... Nothing happened."

"But your face is red." said Taehyung with a smirk on his lips.

"I have no comment."

Taehyung dropped the subject quickly and he turned around to get a glass of water. Making two sandwiches for himself, he left J-hope alone in the kitchen and went to find Jungkook.

J-hope, being dumb-headed as he is, smiled at the microwave food and left the kitchen after Taehyung. 

While J-hope is in the kitchen talking with Taehyung, Suga sat on the toilet seat and sniffled. He pulled out his phone with a shaking hand and saw that he had over 50 missed calls from both his parents and sibling. He almost dropped his phone when it started ringing madly, and he pressed answer. 

"SON, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? YOUR MOTHER AND I WERE SO WORRIED! COME HOME THIS INSTANT NOW!" shouted Suga's dad.

Suga said slowly, " Dad, I'm not coming back. Since you kicked me out of the house, I'll be living somewhere else. It's okay. I'm fine."

With that, Suga ended the call and stood up to wash his face at the sink. His foggy mind cleared when the cold water splashed onto his face. With a huge sigh, he went downstairs and was greeted by Jungkook.

"Hey, hyung. I was wondering, have you seen Taetae?" asked the maknae. 

"No, sorry." Replied Suga and he left Jungkook to find J-hope.

[J-hope]

He walked to the backyard and onto the small stone step-pings  leading to the humongous swimming pool. J-hope settled on the pavement and dipped his toes in the water. Testing the water temperature, he put his legs in and sat down on the pavement. He kicked his legs in the water and waves rippled on the cool water's surface. As J-hope was playing with the water, he didn't notice Suga sneaking up to him. 

"Yah, hyung! DON'T DO THAT!" Yelled J-hope because he was surprised when Suga grabbed his shoulders suddenly.

Suga chucked and said, "Such a coward."

J-hope pouted at his elder, and Suga sat next to J-hope and dipped his feet into the water. Suga flinched at the sudden coldness but soon got used to it. Awkward silence followed, and they just sat there, both staring at the ripples. 

J-hope finally had the courage and blurted out, "H-Hyung, what c-color do you like?"

Surprised at the question, Suga simply replied white and they went back to staring at the water. 

Suddenly, Suga leaned against J-hope and put his head on J-hope's shoulder. J-hope tensed at the movement but soon relaxed. It felt nice, having Suga on his shoulder. But as soon as thoughts filled his mind, his heart begin to quicken again and beating wildly. J-hope's hands started to sweat and he was so uncomfortable, with a red face, J-hope said, "H-hyung, what are you doing?"

Yoongi simply shrugged, "What do you think I'm doing, resting on your shoulder?"

J-hope didn't reply and soon he could hear Suga snoring beside him. He must have been tired, thought J-hope. They stayed like that until sundown. J-hope's shoulder was dying but he didn't dare move, for he knew his hyung has a bad temper when waken up. He tapped Suga and tapped him again. Suga, with a yawn, woke up and asked, "What time is it?"

"It's already 5:30." Replied J-hope.

Suga, with a shocked face, quickly stood up and with a towel dried off his legs and gave the towel to J-hope. It was really cold outside so J-hope and Suga ran into the house and sat right in front of the TV and they started watching Seven Deadly Sins (anime). Since Taehyung already cooked dinner, they grabbed plates filled with food and ate on the sofa. It was a warm and cozy night and J-hope, feeling happy to the extreme, went to bed with a smile.

[Morning]

J-hope just had to post his morning selfie for everyone to see, even Suga. Maybe Suga hyung will comment on my picture, he thought.

So, with new excitement, he went downstairs and cooked breakfast for everyone in the house. 

"Oooo, it's pancakes and eggs. Delicious!" yelled Jungkook as he pilled his plate full of food.

J-hope smiled and handed him a napkin. Everybody in the house came down to eat breakfast, except for Suga hyung. So naturally he got a little worried about his hyung and went upstairs to check on him. J-hope opened the door with a creak and tiptoed into Suga's room like a hamster. Surprisingly, he found his hyung sprawled on the bed, sleeping upside down, and clutching a plushie with drool on it. J-hope wanted to laugh so bad, but he decided to wake Suga up instead.  

"Hyung, wake uppppp!"

"Mmmmm, no. I wanna sleep more."

"Hyung, wake up now or breakfast will be gone."

"Ughhhhhh, fine. I want food."

Suga stood up and went downstairs to the dining area with a annoyed expression on his face.

"WOW, J-hope. I'm surprised he didn't slap your face when you woke him up." said Taehyung.

"Well, I guess I'm special." said J-hope while Taehyung and Jungkook winked at each other.

They finished breakfast quickly and it was Suga's turn to do the dishes. With a pink apron, Suga washed the dishes with care and listened to J-hope's mix tape while doing it. With Suga's back turned, J-hope stood with his hands on his hips, and staring at his hyung fondly. With a slight blush on his cheeks, J-hope walked toward Suga and wrapped his arms around his hyung's waist. 

"Yah, J-hope get off. It's hard to wash dishes like this." yelled Suga.

"I know hyung, but let's just stay like this for a bit."

J-hope breathed in his hyung's scent as he snuggled his head on Suga's shoulder. Another morning passed, and J-hope finally realized that maybe he was a little bit in love.
