Chapter 19: Leave

We made it back to the house and I see that August is still there. I walked in and went straight to my room.

Nicki: Maya come here.

I ignored her and went straight into my room. I was packing my beach bag and I heard my door open.

August: Where are you going?

I tried to walk past him.

August: You're not gonna ignore me like you did your mother.

Me: Well.

August: Well what?

Me: Just move out of my way August.

August: August? My name's dad to you.

Me: You wish.

I walked past him and to the living room.

Nicki: Maya, sweetie, listen to me.

I was beyond pissed. I just got back in the car with Prince. Yes, he was driving my car.

Nicki P.O.V.

I know this girl did not just ignore me.

I understand that she's angry but she needs to forgive and forget. August had his reasons.

August: That girl is something else. Me: I know. I love her though.

August: Yeah.... Soooo...

Me: What?

August: I was wondering if you want to jump on this track me.

Me: Really? You got a daughter that won't even talk to you, but you concerned about a record?

August: She's not mine. I don't claim her.

Me: Good. She don't claim you either.

August: Why the stanky attitude ma?

Me: I don't have an attitude. You just need to take care of your daughter.

August: Whatever. What you say about the track?

Me: Name?

August: No Love.

Me: I'll think about it

August: Mhmm. Well you got my number so call me.

Me: Alright bye.

Augusta: Dang. Angry much?

Me: Very. Now get TF out of my house.

August: Dang beby chill. Im gone.

At the Beach

Maya and Prince walked by the edge of the water and talked.

Maya: Come on let's go swimming.

Prince: Come on then.

They played in the water for a while.

Prince: Bring that sexy body here baby girl.

Maya: Ok Papi

She jumps and wraps her legs around his waist. He walked back to their spot holding her on his hips.

Maya: Gimme kiss (Stevie J voice)

Prince: (laughs) Ok mami.

They kissed passionately until they got to their spot. They were drying off until someone walked up to them.

???: Jacob?

Prince: Nala?

Nala: Hey how've you been?

Prince: Pretty good actually.

Nala: That's good.

Maya: Eh em

Prince: Oh baby this is my old friend Nala. Nala this is my girlfriend Maya.

Maya: Hey nice to meet you.

Nala: Nice to meet you too.

Prince: Well We were about to leave. I guess I'll tall to you later.

Nala: Ok bye.

Prince: Bye.

Nala walks away.

Maya: Can We leave now?

Prince: Oh Yeah of course.

Maya: Im driving. I need to take you home.

Prince: Ok then.

They left and Maya took Prince home.

She walked inside here house and found a note on the refrigerator.

The note:

Dear Maya,

Since you are so angry, I decided to give you your space. Im gonna be in Malibu until you get your mind right. Call me when you are actually ready to talk and be mature about the situation. I love you don't get it twisted now. Talk to you soon.

She sighed.

Maya: Typical Mom. Running away from problems.
