"Hey, Nagisa!" came a whispered voice from the girl next to him. "Let's carry out the assassination plan!"

Before Nagisa could even turn around, his view was blocked by a large yellow, black and purple figure.

"Kayano! How many times have I told you to leave assassination out of schoolwork? Concentrate!"

"Huh? But isn't this an assassination classroom, sensei? Where's the fun if there's no assassination in the classroom?"

"Karma! Get back to your seat immediately!" cried the teacher, moving towards him. Karma smiled.

3...2...1...0!

Karma signalled to Nagisa, who immediately kicked over the loose floorboard in front of Korosensei.

The Anti-Sensei BBs destroyed three tentacles.
In the time it took for Korosensei to process what had happened, Karma, Nagisa and Kayano lunged at him together, while the rest of the class surrounded him and attacked him from every possible angle- above, sideways and below- at the same time.

No matter how much effort they put into the plan, they never actually expected it to work, so it didn't come as much of a surprise when they crashed to the floor in a heap and saw Korosensei panting a few feet away.

"Class, that was a splendidly thought out assassination! Not only did you manage to distract me by ignoring your studies, but I did not even realise we had a loose floorboard!"

Karma laughed. "Your eagerness to help us learn is a seriously bad weakness, and the best part is, you're forced to stick to it!"

He jumped up to his feet and held up his knife. "Even your care for us can be our weapon, sensei. Watch out or I'll kill you with it someday."

He walked back to his desk, playing with his knife.

"Nyurufufufufu.... I look forward to that," said Korosensei, green stripes covering his face. "On the other hand, it looks like some of you may need some help getting up! Would you like a tentacle?" he asked, offering one to Nakamura.

She shook her head. "I'm fine, Korosensei. I can get up."
The rest of the class got to their feet, and, groaning, took their seats.

And class continued.

At the end of the day, Korosensei sat at his desk, lost in his thoughts.

He'd come to this class prepared to help his students grow. He'd come prepared to fulfil Aguri's last wish to the best of his ability. He'd come to look at the students--really look at them, and be a real teacher.

But he hadn't come prepared to feel for them like this.
He could understand them. He could sympathise with their frustration ay being the lowest of the low. He could feel their pain, each of them, and he cared for them all like his own children.

That ache in his heart.....

Karma's words rang in his head, over and over. He knew it was just the usual teasing and provocation, so why did it hurt?

Even your care for us can be a weapon.

In the end, he was just their target and teacher after all. His job was to create the best learning environment, while making sure everyone had fun. He shouldn't expect them to care for him in return. Or even think of his care as anything but a duty and a weapon.
They had to kill him, after all.

He could see them.
But they couldn't see him at all.

He smiled at nothing in particular.

The tentacles really made me weak, didn't they, Aguri?
