Madame Tussauds museum got fewer visitors today. Because it is Monday.
It's 10.13. Irene looks around. She's alone. Rudolf should show up soon. Time to finish this business once and for all.
A wax statue nearby suddenly moves. He scolds, "You're late, Luna."
Irene complaints, "Don't call me that. I'm no longer the pack's Luna."
"Oh, you're still our Luna. Once you marry me."
She gasps.
That's his plan? That's absurd!
Irene protests, "Eric was my mate. Not you. I only love him."
"Who needs love? I'm almost 35, no mate yet. And you have been trained as Luna since teenager days. Perfect soulmate for me."
"Don't do this, Rudolf. You never know if you found your mate out there."
Rudolf stands up. He asks, "Are you happy, Luna? After you left our pack? Living with humans again. These morons who..."
Another wax statue behind her suddenly grabs her from behind. A cry escaped her lips before she realizes the guy is Sherlock Holmes.
The detective mocks, "Don't compare humans to the likes of you. We are smarter race. Not testosterone filled gym rats."
"Don't let your filthy hands touch her!"
Holmes turns Irene around and kisses her lips briefly. He taunts, "What did you say? You're growling too much. Can't hear it right..."
Rudolf leaps forward and attacks him. Holmes pushes Irene away so she wouldn't get hurt. The men fight with bare hands like gladiators. Or thugs in a street fight.
Rudolf is an excellent fighter. Holmes couldn't subdue him easily like his goon. Somehow Holmes manages to choke his neck. Forcing him to submit.
Until...
In blink of eyes, Rudolf has morphed into a big brown werewolf. He bites Sherlock's shoulder with his sharp fangs.
The bite wound is quite severe when Rudolf releases him. Holmes falls to the floor like a broken marionette. An angry howl is heard when Irene's body morphs into a red werewolf.
Holmes' eyes widened.
Never in million of years, he would guess werewolves are real. Or Irene is one of them.
Holmes touches his phone and presses a speed dial. The only one who could help him right now.
"I'm...down..."
That's the only thing he says before his world gone dark.
*****
Rudolf has managed to push her down to the floor. As an Alpha, he could speak directly to her mind.
