Jungkook
Outside Serendipity

Jimin pulled me to the back and stopped. I realized the tears in his eyes.
"Kookie, what's wrong? What am I supposed to know about you?"
I felt myself melt hearing his voice crack up.
"It's just, I thought you-"
"JUNGKOOK!" Yelled a familiar feminine voice.
"Shit." I mumbled under my breath and looked towards the direction of the voice.
"You never called again, baby. I missed you." Said the voice.
"I broke up with you four years ago, Akira! I'm not your baby." I said frowning.
I looked at Jimin and he was glaring at her.
"Well, well, well. Look at this! Little Chimmy all grown up! Well, you look like your 12, with the height and all." Akira said smirking.
Jimin blew up. "Get away from the coffee shop, Akira! You aren't welcomed."
"If only it were that easy," She sighed sarcastically. "I only came for my Sugar Kookie."
I shivered at the sound of the pet name. I haven't heard it in, well, four years.
"Don't call me that." I said squinting.
"But Kookie, I only came to get you back. I missed you, sweetie. And your lips against mi-"
"SHUT UP, AKIRA!" Jimin basically pounced on her.
Like a lion fighting to the death.
"Get off me, you gay piece of sh**!" Akira quickly recovered.
I glared at her. She raised her hand to slap Jimin, only finding me stopping her.
"He's my friend, Akira. And well, we're both gay. So get outta here, you maniac." I could tell I cut a string there.
"Well, I'm gonna change that. TONIGHT. You, me, in-" She was stopped by the mother of lions, Jin.
He was basically slapping her and probably lecturing her.
"You guys alright?" Asked Hoseok running towards Jimin and I.
"No, my crazy ex-girlfriend showed up, as you can tell," I said.
I looked over at Jimin, more tears covered his face. I caught myself staring and disregarded that feeling.
"Chim, you okay?" I asked putting my hand on his shoulder.
He swatted my hand away. "Seeing her, was the only thing I needed to get that memory back. To get you back in my head. No matter how familiar you looked, I only realized now. Because she, that crazy ass girl, showed up."
My eyes got teary.
Taehyung jogged towards us. "Chim Chim, come here."
"No!"
"Please, Ji-"
"Why didn't you tell me sooner?" He asked him.
"You weren't supposed to find out... Not like this."
"Well I did! The doctor said that you'd help me, that you'd guide me, help me regain important memories. You helped me with all of them except this." Jimin's tears soaking his shirt.
"I was going to get there-"
"When? When I'm on the verge of death? I wanted Jungkook to tell me. But that *bleep* ruined everything! She made it all come back!" Jimin looked at me. "You... You caused it, I was too in love to believe you would change. You distracted me. You were the last one who saw me. And I'm ashamed for that."
My tears streamed down my face.
"I only lived cause my parents were rich!" Jimin said.
"I'm sorry, Chim." Were the only things I had to say to make him even more mad.
"That's it? 'I'm sorry, Chim'? After all these years, I promised I would seek out the person who got me into that accident. Only to find him saving me from an accident. Ironic, right?"

I closed my eyes and remembered the other four boys with Akira.
I quickly turned to them and found Yoongi being treated with alcohol.
Hoseok was trying his best not to cry for his boyfriend.
Jin was crying on Namjoon's shoulders and Namjoon himself was staring into space.
I closed my eyes once more and Jimin hit my shoulder.
"Hello? Earth to Jungkook?" He said.
"I'm sorry, for everything. I should've been the one to get hit. I was that ignorant to not stop dating her.
I was too blind to realize she was hurting you, emotionally and physically..." My words faded. "I understand if you don't want to see me anymore."

I slowly started to head to my motorbike.
I got on but Jimin held my hand.
He smiled at me and I returned it. We were staring into each other's eyes. It didn't last.

Akira was back. She pulled Jimin away by the neck. With a gun in her hand. My eyes widened.
"Akira! Drop the gun, please." I begged her.
"If I can't have you, neither can he. I suppose if I let him go he can run off and get hit by another bus." She said.
"Let him go, Akira!" Taehyung was catching up.
"Or what? Come closer and I pull the trigger. Can't risk our precious Chimmy now can we?"
I knew I was fast. But Taehyung didn't seem to catch up and walked forward.
Akira noticed and pulled the trigger.
"AKIRA, NO!" My voice could be heard for miles away.
I closed my eyes and heard a gunshot.
No, he can't be dead, can he?
I opened my eyes to find a lifeless.... No...
