SAM WAS GETTING WORRIED. Luna wasn't back from her run and he didn't know where she was.

"Did you find her?" Sam asked his second and third command as they shook their head no. Sam sighed and shifted himself.

"Protect Lucas" he said and then turned into the forest. "Lincoln is going to kill me" Sam said and ran faster.

He growled whenever he smelt that there was another vampire in this land. Soon enough he saw a body on the ground.

As he got closer he could see that it was Luna's. Sam shifted and brought the girl closer to him. He carried her bridal style and looked at her.

Sam knew that Luna was turning into her lycan wolf. Sam also knew that he didn't keep the promise to Lincoln.

As he got closer to his house he saw Lucas with Paul. He noticed that there was something different with the two.

Before he could question the two wolves, even thought Lucas hadn't shifted yet, Lucas was running towards Sam.

"Oh god" he repeated over and over again. Paul moved closer to his imprint as he murmured the same thing over and over.

"She's transforming into her lycan side" Sam explained to Lucas who just stared at his twins body.

"She looks dead" he said bluntly as she was paler than usual. Jared then came out with a phone in his hand.

He gently took Luna into his arms and Sam took the phone.

"Hello?" he asked and then he heard his voice.

"Sam, I want you to be honest with me. What happened" Lincoln asked his mate as Sam sighed.

"I'm sorry" he told his imprint. "Luna wanted to go for a run but I wouldn't let her as I knew that the vampires were still in the area. Then she got angry and decided herself that she could go alone. I-I'm so sorry" he told his imprint who listened.

"I'll be home soon. I'll just have to tell Charlie that we're going away for a little while longer" he said "just make sure that she's comfortable, please."

"Of course."

Then the other line went. Sam grumbled incorrect words and walked into his small house.

Luna was laying in a small room. One of the spare bedrooms. Sam looked at Jared who was beside his imprint.

"You alright?" The alpha asked his beta who shook his head no. "I-I don't want to see her like this, ever again" he told his alpha.

"Did you imprint on her?" Sam asked and Jared smiled "I did" he said and looked at his imprint.

"I can't believe this happened under our noses" Jared told his alpha who nodded his head "I know the feeling..."

It went quiet but it was a comfortable quiet. Sam looked at the girl again, she was beautiful. "She will be alright" Sam told his beta who looked at his imprint sadly.

"I just didn't do anything to help her" he said as Sam sighed "neither did I...."

LINCOLN BURST THROUGH SAM'S DOOR. He looked to see his imprint walking down the stairs. "Where is she?"

Sam took him up to Sams room where he had Luna. Lincoln looked at his only sister, she looked quite peaceful.

She looked like she was sleeping. Lincoln started to cry. "You should've listened to Sam, Luna.." he cried out and then looked at his imprint.

"Thank you for getting her back" he said softly, knowing that his imprint was blaming himself. "She still got bit..." Sam muttered as Lincoln rose from his spot.

"But you still got her back" he said to his imprint. Sam nodded his head still feeling bad.

"She's going to be like this for two weeks, do you um.. what to move her to a different room?" Lincoln asked his mate who shook his head.

"This is the best bed in the house. She can stay here." Lincoln nodded his head.

"I'm taking Lucas back to Charlie's house and I'll tell him that Luna took sick and she doesn't want him to catch it."

Sam held Lincoln's hand "she'll be okay" he told Lincoln who nodded his head.

"I know" Lincoln kissed Sam's cheek "Lucas and I have to get going I know that I said that they will stay here but Charlie is on his own and I don't want him to be alone."

Sam nodded his head "I'll keep an eye on Luna" Lincoln smiles "thank you."

THE DRIVE TO FORKS WASN'T LONG. Lucas knew that his sister would be alright but he still worried about her.

"Charlie is going to be surprised to see us" Lucas said to lighten the mood. Lincoln looked at his brother "yeah he will be" and then paid attention back to the road.

"Try and no go into the woods" Lincoln said "that how the vampires got us two" Lucas nodded his head "I know" he said as they pulled into the drive.

They both got out and Charlie opened the door before they knocked on the door.

"I though you were coming home tomorrow?" Charlie asked and then noticed that Luna wasn't there. "Where is Luna?" he asked.

"Luna is sick and she doesn't want you to get it, that's why we are home early." Charlie nodded his head and hugged his two boys.

"How's Bella?" He asked as they let go of the boys. "Bella's okay" Lucas said "well the last time that I had talked to her, she said that she was okay" the boys looked at each other.

They didn't know how she was, Esme was keeping them in the loop but they haven't gotten anything in a while.

"That's good" Charlie said.

"I'm glad you two are here."

So was Lincoln.
