Clint had been going around each apartment and sneaking through the windows, looking around to try and spot their imp soulmate. Thor was patiently waiting down below, his hammer gently gleaming in the low light from the streetlamp. "I wish I was sleeping..." Clint muttered under his breath as he entered another apartment. It was around 11:00 at night, so thankfully, most people were asleep.

Kagami was still laying in his bathtub when her herd his window slide open. He opened his jaw to taste the air, only sweat cam through. He grumbled something unholy under his breath and stood up, wavering slightly from his blood loss. Luckily, his cuts healed by now. The imp grabbed his dagger off of his sink and his door, keeping invisible as he carefully stalked down the hall, with the dagger secured in his hands.

Clint turned and looked around the apartment, this one was actually much nicer than the other ones. The furniture was all shades of gray and black and looked brand new. He kept his bow at the ready in case of any attackers and attentively walked around the apartment.

Kagami's enhanced eyesight could easily make out the shape of Clint Barton in his kitchen. He hissed in his mind, not wanting to not activate with another soulmate, but wanting the man gone from his apartment. Kagami took his knife and placed it in its sheath that was attached to his hip before coming up behind Clint. He very warily climbed up on to the fridge, looking down at the avenger. He sighed, annoyed, and then leaped down onto Clint.

The burn was all to familiar, but he tried not to think about it as he pinned Clint to the floor. Kagami let himself bee seen as he kicked Clint's bow away from him and reared up his metal hand. Despite Kagami's size (5'3 if you don't remember), Clint couldn't move under the imp's sheer muscle mass and began struggling beneath him, looking at the sharp metal claws as they came closer towards his throat.

Kagami grunted as he smacked into his fridge. He stood and looked over at his living area, seeing none other than Thor standing there. Stupid bastard, throwing his hammer at me. Kagami turned himself invisible and came up to the god, taking his knife and stabbing it into Thor's abdomen. Thor gasped in pain and fell to his knees, grabbing Kagami by the wrist and sending his face into the brownish- red hardwood floor.

Kagami easily lifted himself upwards, kicking Thor in the jaw as he did so, and assumed a defensive position. "What do you want?" He snarled, drool falling from his jaw.

"We just want to talk ," Clint groaned out as he stood up. Kagami placed his foot over Clint's bow so he couldn't grab it.

"No." Kagami spoke with a threatening tone. "Get out of my house before I drain every last drop of blood from your bodies and drink it."

Thor stood and removed the knife from his gut , gently placing it on the floor and he began fastidiously moving towards the hybrid, "Please relax, we only want to talk."

Kagami's devil tail lashed and he gave a warning flash of his fangs towards Thor, prompting the god to move back, "What?" He spat.

"You're our soulmate," Clint began, at the simple words Kagami's icy gaze snapped to the archer his eyes narrowing,  "your Alpha told us that you had some trust issues-"

"So you broke into my house?" Kagami asked, grabbing Thor's arm and throwing him to thr ground when he got too close.

"Maybe not our best move, but all we ant to do is talk," Clint was trying to reason with the hostile imp, a bit nervous that Kagami's weight would crush his bow.

"I don't care, get out."

"Please, try and see that we're not a threat," Thor pleaded, looking up at Kagami.

"Yeah you're not a threat without your bow and fucking hammer," Kagami spat , kicking Thor in the jaw to keep him down. Thor was more of a threat than Clint in his mind. Kagami's ears slightly perked and his smile turned sinister. He leaned down and picked up Clint's bow, with the arrow still attached to it. He aimed it at Clint and spat on the floor, "You have ten seconds to get the fuck out of my house or this," he gestured to the arrow, "will be in your eye."

Clint looked amazed, the archer had never seen someone who could hold hi bow so steady. Clint raised his arms up in surrender and then said something that maybe went bit too far, "You wouldn't kill one of your soulmates, would you?"

Kagami dropped the bow and looked at Clint in surprise. It's not the archer's fault he said something to trigger something in Kagami that he didn't know. Thor and Clint looked at the stationary imp and waited for him to say something.

"Why Kagami?" Storm's blood poured around the Kagami's legs, keeping the hybrid's grin perverse

Kagami looked at the hawk and then at the god as his eyes became wide and his tail fell down behind him.

"I raised you to be a soldier ."

"No..." Kagami whispered, taking a few steps backwards, his claws still unsheathed but his stance more submissive

"Love is weakness," Ryan's gruff voice told the imp

Kagami fell backwards onto his couch and began curling in on himself, "Love is weakness..." his voice was just under a whisper.

Kagami looked at his metal fist and punched  the wall, "Harder." Ryan commanded

When he was curled up he let his hands drop to his feet and began using his claws to rip apart the flesh on his ankles and calves. Clint watched as the imp began to tear himself and apart and cautiously approached him, looking at the Thor to keep the large alpha behind him.

"Kagami..." Clint lowered himself and then choked back his tears when he saw Kagami's eyes. The edges of his eyes were laced with red, with thick tears falling down his cheeks.

"Go away," Kagami hissed at Clint, scooting himself backwards until he hit the wall. The imp began to rock back and forth, shaking uncontrollably.

Clint had taught everyonein the Avengers basic sign language and told Thor to go get Bucky. The god nodded, grabbed his hammer, and leaped out of the window.

Kagami felt the spiked whip dig into his lower back as he threw his head back and hissed in pain, "Good soldiers don;t fail their missions," Ryan spat in his face.

"Kagami, I'm not going to hurt you," Clnt spoke softly, keeping his body as small as he could make it.

"But I'll hurt you..." Kagami whispered, trailing off and looking at his metal fist. He growled an kept scratching at his flesh, watching his blood coat the floor.

Clint tried to approach him again, keeping one hand by his side and the other reached for Kagami's hand, "No you won't," Clint reasured the imp.

Kagami looked at the the archer and slashed at his hand when it got too close, but the man wasn't giving up. He extended his hand once again and this time Kagami made direct eye contact with him and then gently took his hand. Kagami's hand was tough, clearly from sinking into human and animal flesh, but his skin felt soft like it had been just washed.

Kagami tensed when Clint took his hand. Clint's hand was tough and full of callouses, but oddly tender and caring. Kagami's purple eyes kept locked with Clint's foggy blur ones. When Clint tried to move closer to the panicking imp, Kagami let out a low hiss. Clint tool what he got and sat far enough away from Kagami, but close enough so that their hands could remain interlocked.
