What is Love-Part 16 to 20

As soon as they got down from the car, the media crowded the couple and was trying to reach them. Fortunately Arnav's bodyguards who were there for security issues surrounded them and escorted them inside as soon as the media tried to approach them. What caught the attebtion of the media people was the lady besides ASR. She seemed to be very close to ASR for he had held her protectively in his embrace all the way inside.

Before getting inside, Arnav introduced Khushi as his wife and the couple posed for the media. The news of ASR being no longer a bachelor caused a big uproar among the media personnels present there and they started throwing questions about his marriage but they soon stopped as Arnav confirmed that all their questions would be answered in the press conference that would be held the next day.

As they got inside, all guests' attention shifted from Akash and Payal to Arnav and Khushi and they were curious to know about the identity of the lady beside Arnav. But as Nani introduced Khushi as the elder daughter-in-law of the Raizada Parivaar, there were both appreciation and jealousy for the Raizada Bahu.

Khushi was no doubt beautiful and made a nice pair with Arnav but the ladies who came to the party with the hope that they could get their daughter hitched to the elder bachelor of the Raizadas kept on giving disapproving and jealous looks to her.

All thoughout the party she felt uncomfortable with the unnecessary attention that she was getting from all the guests due to being the elder daughter-in-law of such an affluent family, she just plastered a fake smile on her face and continued greeting them.

Khushi was with Arnav who had all the time held her by her waist and was even introducing her to everyone. He did not even leave her and accompanied her everywhere for he knew that she was uncomfortable being in the limelight. But what he did not realise was that he was slightly caressing her waist while holding her and that was making more than uncomfortable, slightly fidgety.

Payal was standing with the family members and the Guptas and was fuming from inside for she was completely sidelined by all the guests. She felt insulted as before Khushi's arrival in the party, everyone were paying attention to her but as she came, everything changed. Understanding that she must be wanting to talk to her family in private, Nani and Anjali gave her the needed privacy by leaving them alone. Seeing Arnav and Khushi's closeness, she was feeling infuriated.To top it up, Garima's and Buaji's bitter words for Khushi were adding to her anger.

Buaji: Ee dekh Nandkishore, u Khusi kaise apni pati se chipakke ke khadi hai! Sharam hain bhi ya nahin? (Just see how she's standing so close to her husband. Does she have any shame or not?)

Garima: Aaj kal ke jawaan pata nahin apne aapko ka samjhat hain. Aisan itne saare logan ke saamne aisi harkat....Chi chi. (Don't know what these youngsters think of themselves. Infront of so many people abd such an act.)

P: Yeh to phir bhi kam hain. Ghar mein hamesha woh donon kisi na kisi sharmaak harkat karte hi rehte hain. Upar se kitni baar gharwaalon ne dekha bhi hain par woh kuch nahin kehte. (This is less. They are always acting like that at home. On top of all, the family members as well have seen them but they don't  say anything.)

B: Payalia, waise woh Arnav, Raizada Khaandaan ki naahin hain na? (Arnav is not of the Raizada clan, ain't it?)

P: Haan, aur Akashji se pata chala ji woh aur Di bahut saalon se unke saath hi rehte hain. Sunne mein to yeh bhi aaya hain ghar mein koi bhi unke ateet ki baat nahin karte. (Yes and I've learnt from Akash that he and Di have been staying with them from many years and that no one discusses about their past in the house.)

B: Hoga kisi ki najaiz bacche donon Bhai Behen. Isiliye to apne Maa ki parivaar ke saath rehte hain. (Must be someone's illegitimate children. That's why they stay with their mother's family.)
