When you found him with only a strip of cloth around his waist, you knew something was up. People do weird things but that's not usually one of them, especially when the guy in question has a nice shiny cane, a pretty hot body, and tattoos covering him. It's not something you see everyday. Naturally, you decided to help him, at least get some clothes on his body to (unfortunately) cover everything.
"Hey! You!" The guy looked at you, a confused expression on his face. "Yeah, you! C'mon over here, I'll find you some clothes." He nodded and followed you into your house. You were always told not to let strangers in but you were kind of worried about the unknown, attractive man if you were being honest.
"What's your name?"
"Hmm my name? My name is known and yet unknown to none and yet to all. I am one who none know and yet very well known."
"Okay Poetry Boy. I'll go get you some pants and a belt and then we'll find a shirt that looks good on you." You said before walking away up the stairs.
He stood there and sighed, "You can call me V." It was barely a whisper and you didn't hear. He smiled gently, although he wasn't quite sure why.
"Hey Poetry Boy! I think these'll fit you, the belt should work too." You said. He took the pants from you and nodded.
"Thanks..." He looked at you, "What should I call you?"
"Whatever you want to Poetry Boy."
"Well, what's your name?" You bit your lip, giving your name out to strangers wasn't exactly your thing.
"(Y/N)." You mumbled.
"Ah, I see. How lovely." You flushed slightly at his words.
"You never told me your name Poetry Boy."
" 'I have no name, I am but two days old.' Just kidding, you can call me V."
"Okay V, go put those on. I need to see if they fit." You pointed to the bathroom and started to walk away. You heard heard the slight rustle of clothes behind you. The soft plap of cloth hitting the floor. He was changing in the middle of the hallway. You peaked behind you at him and quickly moved to close the curtains.
"Hey, I said the bathroom not the hallway idiot!" You turned to continue scolding him as the blush rose to your cheeks. He really was attractive... You stood there and stared at him.
"Mind turning back around?" He said. You realized that you were staring at a still mostly nude stranger.
"I'm going to make something to eat," you said, your face hot and you scurried away. The rustle of clothes from the hall could be heard and then, the clink of the belt buckle.
"Is there anything I can help with?" His soft, smooth voice cut through the air. You jumped slightly when you realized just how close he was. The faintest whisper of his breath tickled your neck, pleasent pinpricks crept up your back.
"Well? Can I?" You realized that you had just been standing at the counter for several seconds too long. V leaned around you and perched on his hand."Doesn't that hurt your elbow? The counter is pretty hard," you trailed off. You felt akward in his presence.
"Don't change the subject. I asked if I could help. Well?" He pressed. You could have sworn that he inched forward.
"Go put a shirt on first." He stood up, not quite to his full height. He looked frail and weak, like a touch ever so slightly too hard would break him, make him crack. The intricate tattoos that wove around his body made his frame look smaller somehow. He nodded and walked away. Within a few minutes he returned, now clothed in a sleeveless leather coat and sandals.
"What the fuck?" It was barely a whisper, a ghost of a question before you were examining the full outfit.
"Where did you get sandals from? Whoa, this jacket is cool! The strings that tie it together are even actually tied, how the fuck?" V chuckled quietly at your fascination."I put it together myself, for the most part. How do I look?" He asked, smirking. You blushed, eyes lingering on the part of his chest still visible.
"Great. It's missing something though."
"Hmm?"
"Gimme a sec." You ran to your room, digging through your accessories to find what you wanted. You walked back, excited to add the accessories to V's new look.
"Sit, close your eyes, I'm adding accessories." You smiled, hoping that they made the outfit look even better.
You took his right hand and slide a black, fingerless glove on. On his left wrist you put a plain leather bracelet and a studded one. V flinched and grabbed your wrist as you put a tooth pendant around his neck before you whispered to him that it was still you.
"Stand up please. This might feel a little weird," You said blushing. You would have been done a while ago if you didn't keep staring and examining his features. His raven hair looked soft, it framed his face perfectly. You watched his eyelashes and his lips as he let out small breaths. You realized that you still hadn't put the skull chain on yet. You knelt before him, quickly and carefully fitting it to his pants. You were very pleased with the look.
"I'm surprised you kept your eyes closed while I did this."
"Oh I didn't, I just opened my eyes when I knew you wouldn't see." He chuckled, seeing your glare and disapproving look.
"Gimme your hand, I'm still not done." He chuckled and held out his left hand.
"You are quite interesting, (Y/N)." You ignored him, sliding your own wide banded ring off your finger. As you slide it onto his finger he chuckled again, the sound made you smile.
"What?"
"It's almost like you're proposing to me," He replied, still laughing. You laughed, a blush creeping to your cheeks.
"I love the way you laugh." He looked at you, slightly surprised. He smiled and leaned in closer.
"You don't think it's weird that we've only just met?"
"You seem really familiar, so uh, no."
"Hmm, how interesting," V's voice was soft and smooth, it made you shiver slightly. It was much different than before, you looked down. For some reason now you couldn't look at him. His lips found your temple and you found yourself leaning into his touch.
"You're a very strange thing, my dear." He pressed a soft kiss to your forehead and turned around. "I'll come back if I'm not dead." You could only nod as he walked away.
* * * * *
"Hey, V. Why do you keep messing with your ring?" Griffin asked, circling the air above V. The raven haired man smile gently.
"It's a reminder."
"What could a silly little ring possibly remind you of?"
"That accessories are the best part, of course."
