Mystical creatures

Chapter 1

So, let's start off with a little fairytale all children were told thoughout their early childhood years. Well, let's change that statement. Not everyone, but everyone who lived in Laduna Peninsula.

Over the hills where no one can see there is a land. Not just any ordinary land, a Mysterious land. Where creatures are produced, monsters are roaming and giant winged horses are zooming through the sky. It all started the year of 1967, a young boy decided to seek the truth and discover what was really over the hills. On his 13th birthday, he decided to make a plan that he would follow in the years to come. His whole life was dedicated to finding the truth. He had plans, drawings and maps scattered around his room that he used to understand the land. The time flew as he sat in his room, drawing, writing, reading and deciding. When finally the day came when he decided he was ready to climb over the hills to the land below. That very week he packed for the trip, not telling anyone he was going and on the night of a full moon, he left his home and headed of for his journey. Whilst walking to the mystical land, he took 3 breaks, one for breakfast, lunch and dinner. In saying this, it only took him one day to travel to the land. As he arrived to the land, he was greeted by a army of angry monsters determined to stop him entering, or leaving. He was captured by the army and shoved in a jail that was held in the mystical land whilst the many winged and landborn creatures kept guard. As the days got longer, the family he left gave up on the hope of ever finding him and the hostage started to weaken with minimal food and water. Not long after, the winged horses called 'Unicorns' decided that they were fed up of guarding him and put on a protest to behead him. That was it, all creatures agreed and the following night the jail was empty...

So that is the story all children had to memorise and respect. But, not everyone listens to rules do they?
