Light and Night

When 2 girls approached me and sat next to me under their names. The girl that sat under the name Yang had long curly golden hair that shone like the sun. When she turned around and look at me with those eyes, her eyes were like 2 perfect round orbs of amethyst that shone in the darkest cave. Her eyes were filled with a gleeful glint and a wide smile plastered on her face. When I finally stop staring into mesmerising eyes I saw what she was wearing, a white top with a honey coloured  jacket over the top, large gold hoops and navy grey shorts.  Navy grey thigh high stockings matching her and black knee high boots on. Her partner that Yang had walked in was the exact opposite to Yang her name was Yin she was wearing a long black dress that stopped at her ankles and covered her arms on top of her head was a hood was pulled up with a purple-blackish bow on the side and a gold chain belt around her waist. Yins hair was spilling out from the side of her hood it was black as midnight. As she sat down next to me her eyes shined like pieces of amber filled with a mystery, they also had a kind of a cat of vibe to them. Hidden deep within the eyes you can see that she had a many of secrets that she was keeping. After sitting in silence while all the other first years were piling through the doors with noisy chatter. Yang starts to talk to me, saying in an oddly cheery voice " Hey nice to meet you the names Yang what about you"  she finished it off with a wide toothy grin. Before me and violet had been dropped off at the school Florence had pulled me aside to talk to me saying " you better not talk to anyone or tell anyone which family you belong too because of violet is next in line after the princess, we only keep you around because it would look bad for us to give up a child, got it". So not to be rude to Yang  I pointed to the illuminated name. " oh so your name is Clarissa, you a first year like me" I wanted to yelled at her and say then why would I be sitting here for fun no. my expression on my face stayed the same a neutral smile and a nodded of the head. Yang smiled and started talking again saying " not a talker are you well that's a challenge I accept to try and make to talk to me" I told myself to just try and block her out but no matter how much concentration I have I just can't when is she going to shut up. Yin was Yang's twin sister which I heard from Yang's rambling explaining her whole life that she could remember. On the front stage a lady that was walking to the podium. She was wearing a simple green dress that end at the knees with interrogate golden embroidery on the front and golden thread stitched the seams. Her  dusty blonde coloured hair flowed behind her when she turned to face the crowd of new students she had a golden head band that kept her hair from her face her eyes were a bright green that was soft but had a hint of sharpness from them. The hall was filled with loud chatter from all the other first years. After the lady had put her hands up the hall was filled with a bright light that flash purple everyone was silent and sat down. Yang ask me " who's that" the lady at the front said " I'm the headmistress of this school Laura Hellfire" Yang whispered in my ear " oh so that is who she is" the headmistress started talking about the what was going to happen this  year so I zoned out then about 10 minutes later a piece of old, fold parchment fell on top of my hand. I looked at the fold parchment closely it had my name in a purple ink and perfect penmanship.
