Hi everyone, I've been having a hard time finding the will to write, things are rough at college. I will try my hardest because I see more people are reading and I want you guys to have more to read.

It's been over a week since we figured out who the witch was and that whole thing happened. I haven't said a word to Alyssa, I just couldn't. They tried explaining it to me but I was too crushed. It wasn't just because of them..

My best friend, the person I grew up with hated me..

And my mother was dead.

Every time I say it, it didn't seem real. I love my father, I really do, but I spent almost my whole life with my mother.. and to know she's dead because of me.. I can't handle that. I even told Alyssa and I don't think she realizes this is what it's about, she just thinks my mother passed. We started going back to school, which is really boring. I sit there all day, besides band, and attempt to learn all of this, which is impossible because where I come from most of this stuff hadn't happened yet....

All I could think about was my mom and Sophia... I missed them so much and I felt so guilty... This is all my fault.

"Sam? Hey, Sam!?" Alyssa was trying to get my attention

"Huh? What."

"We have to go, school's over." Oh.. I didn't even realize what time it was.

"Find another ride, I need to help some people practice." I walked away without even letting her have a chance to explain. Oh well.

I was looking down when I bumped into someone, I look up and of course, its Alex.

"Hey, Sam.."

"Don't, I have to go." He grabbed my arm and turned me around to face him.

"Look, you haven't said more than five words to Alyssa and I since this all went down, you won't even let us tell you that nothing happened, but you won't believe us. What is going on with you?" I pulled his arm behind him and pushed him against the wall.

"You wanna know what's wrong? My mother, the one parent to raise me, is dead because I left. I was planning on having her and Sophia live with me in the castle but my father wouldn't allow it. Sophia went crazy with jealousy and is now hell bent on making our lives a living hell and possibly killing us, and my mother is dead, from a broken heart. Now, if you could get over yourself, same with Alyssa, and realize I'm not pissed about you two, then this would make this time a lot easier." I let him go but he didn't turn around. "Exactly. So, if you'll excuse me, I have to go help people with audition music and get on with me life. You should do the same." He finally turned around but I turned on my heel and went into a practice room.

"Hello Aliz" I spin around to see the maid and the knight, well shit.

"Really? Come on, it hasn't even been what, 8 days? You couldn't give us a break? Sophia got her way, I'm miserable, I'm stuck in this new world, our families are disappearing as we speak, my mother is dead because of me, what else does she want?" They both smirked, of course there was more.

The maid spoke up first, "She wants your powers you fool. You're a full blooded witch, that's all she really cares about." Well, if that what she wants. I reach my hand out and the knight and maid fly to the wall.
